Hey everyone! Well I'm back again for another grow! Done a couple grows since the last post but with so much going on this past year I just didn't bother with any posting.
I'm at my second week of flower for the Bruce banner#3, have 4 clones taken and in veg currently as well as I have white widow and another Bruce banner seed just starting to sprout so going to be busy posting and keeping everyone updated on everything.
Currently flowering in a 2x4 tent but will soon be transfering to a new 4x6 flower space. Recently purchased a mars hydro tsw2000, this will be used along side two phlizon 1200s and a phlizon 600. The phlizon lights will be replaced as soon as I can afford to but for now I think the combo of lighting should produce well.
Seedlings, clones and veg will be done under two true 125watt bulbs, once the phlizons have been upgraded I may use the Phlizons for veg stage, any thoughts on this? Would you use two 125 watt CFLs or two phlizon 1200 blurples? Either way that's a thought for the future.
This time I decided to go with advanced nutrient connoisseur line after having good results with MGB (quarter pound per plant under the blurples), even better with sensi a+b (half pound per plant under the blurples). Also figured with the increase in light there will be the need for the better nutrients. Couldn't help but to feel like I had hit a limit of what those blurples were able to do. Produced good quality smoke but the quantity wasnt what it could of been I don't think.
I grow using topping, L.S.T. then neting and have always had good luck with it but I'm wondering with the larger flower space if changing over to a SOG method may work better. 6 large plants with 1-2 month veg vs 20 smaller ones with a 2-4 week veg?
Any input would be appreciated!
