Yes but I haven't flowered it yet, started a handful in the summer but they were crammed in and I wasn't able to give them adequate light so they stretched to the point where I had to cull them but this doesn't seem to be as stretchy as the last batch so hoping for good things!?

That variety looks like they will be tall, lots of space between nodes, don’t you think?

I do that's why I gave up on the first batch I sprouted but these two are looking more controllable. I'll probably flower this as is to see what it does and top & keep the second one in veg. Hoping for good things with these

So yeah, its been a bit too long since I have put up an update. Life has been a bit crazy over the last few weeks; work has been nutty, which is actually a good thing, I went a way for a weeks vacation, been at a lot of doctors appointments because I have my first kid on the way, my girlfriends surprise birthday party and so many other small things that take up time. Anyway I am gonna just get to the point, here is what has been going on in the garden. I have been working in coco and trying out a new nutrient line and finding the sweet spot of both. This did make for a bit of a rough start to this round along with low temps because my heater stopped responding to my thermostats automatic cycle, and a one too many days dry along with that all. In the past 3 weeks or so everything has really come back into stride and though delayed by almost 3 weeks I am now heading into bloom and hoping I can get this round done on time for an imminent move. Here is the list of what is going into flower, 1 @ Divine Gelato, 1 @ Black Lime Reserve, 5 @ Cinderella 99, 1 @ Crown Royale and 1 @ Love Fern a gift from the very thoughtful @1diesel1 that I am doing in soil with organic nutes. I am finding that love fern a really interesting gal, super squat and tight internode spacing, she is definitely an indica plant and I am very much looking forward to what she has to offer. I guess anyone who is still checking out this thread is probably sick of reading this so I will just get onto the pics.

Crown Royale after the hang dry. She smells like baby vomit and rotting fruit with just a touch of cheese in all the best ways.

A nice top from her.

Pineapple Chunk after the hang dry. This one has a really nice sharp tropical tone with a very subtle skunkiness to it. It really has a very nice flavor and effect as well. Though it may be an Amsterdam Skunk it is a really nice example and I am keeping a mom of her for future grows. She also seems to have a rather high return when making hash.

A Crown Royale clone getting put into her final pot.

And an unintentional haircut, but it has definitely worked in my favor.

The Love Fern I am so excited about. Look how happy she is right after transplant.

Some Cindy 99 girls. These are from G13 Labs, not Bros. Grimm but I am still excited to run them. This is a variety I have really been wanting to try for a long time and even in my years living in Cali I never had the chance to try anything more than a cross of her. I do have some beans from Brothers Grimm that I have set away for when I have the time to do a seed run.

All the girls (minus 1 Cindy 99) as of Jan 9, ready to veg for a bit before the flip.

This is the Pineapple Chunk mom with a really weird but cool leaf whorl.

The whole gang as of Feb. 14. I love all these girls; but not more than my girlfriend.

And here we are today. This is the Divine Gelato getting up potted from a 1 gallon fabric pot to a 2 gallon fabric pot into Cyco Seamix, a blend of coco, perlite and a bit of kelp. The kelp gives a bit of food for the plants to start on and it also eases the stress of the transplant.

And the plants trimmed and ready for the flip.

Crown Royale, another girl who has super tight internodes. The topping she got during transplant has created a considerable amount of tops that I am really hoping will turn into nice long colas.

Tonight is the first night the girls will get 12 hours of dark, so tomorrow is the start of flower officially.

Ok so sorry for being so long since the last update, life has been kinda nutty and time in the garden has taken the place of me getting on here. As we get closer to the baby being born we have been constantly going to doctors and that has taken up the rest of my time. For the first time I have been dealing with spider mites; I brought in a clone from a friend and though I gave it a treatment as soon as it came into my space it had to pretty immediately go near my other plants in veg. Sure enough the mites showed themselves, so I have been dealing with that which sucks. Everything is just about under control and preventative measures will be taken from here out. No new clones will be coming in for a bit until I have things properly dealt with. I only tossed the one plant that brought the mites in, which ends up being an ok thing anyway as I have far too many moms to deal with for my space; and I still have seeds run through of which I will be adding some more moms to the bunch. So I know the fun of a diary is the pics so here they are.

About a week into flower here. Pretty much all the plants had a significant and quick stretch, except the Love Fern, that is a very squat plant with very little stretch. You can clearly see her lagging behind in these pics.

A few quick shots of a Cindy 99 loving life as she shows first signs of flowers and wonderfully close internodal distance hinting at how well she makes long stacked colas.

Everyone getting tall, particularly the Divine Gelato which almost outgrew the space. Everyone but the Love Fern, she is up front on the right.

And now we can finally get some close up shots. First up is the Divine Gelato.

Next are some Cindy 99 shots.

And some Black Lime Reserve.

And a group shot.

A before and after of Crown Royale and Love Fern getting a defoliation and spray down to ward off any pests. Love Fern is the one on the right and clearly that means the Crown Royale is the one on the left.

The whole group after defoliation. There is a lot more light penetrating lower down into the plants.

The last shots are from a couple days ago. The progress is pretty noticeable as things really start to bulk up. I had to slightly shift the filter and fan so I could raise the light even further to accommodate the very tall Divine Gelato and Black Lime

One of the Cindy 99 colas beefing up.

And finally a couple shots of the Love Fern. She is frosting up very heavily, even the fan leaves have a good covering of trichomes. She is also starting to put out an aroma of musky berries; it is sweet but not like a candy sweet and there is a dank musky undertone. I am very much looking forward to drying her out so I can see how she smells and then smoking her. Thanks again @1diesel1, this is definitely a special plant. I will be keeping her going for while.

For anyone who is still interested here is a quick update on how the garden is coming along. You will see there are some not so nice leaves on these plants, it appears that I had a bit of a salt build-up in the coco, particularly in the Cyco Seamix which is what all the C99 girls have their roots buried in. Otherwise the plants are all pretty healthy and on target.

First up is C99, the top colas are getting nice and fat. The smell from these girls is amazing, lemony, tropical and skunky funk all wrapped up into al nice little green package. Ohh and its sticky as hell, if I look at these plants funny my hands get all sticky. The leaf damage is pretty obvious on these girls, plus the very dark green leaves is another indicator as to what the problem is. The harvest should be alright, though maybe a bit smaller than I could have gotten.

Up next is Divine Gelato, this girl really stretches and almost outgrew the space. But almost only counts in horse-shoes and hand grenades.

35 days in and she is starting to put on the dark purple coloring.

Black Lime Reserve, just loving life and looking gorgeous. I do wish she put on a bit more stink while growing, but I know that once dried and cured she will have a lovely smell and flavor. She is very frosty however.

A few shots of the Crown Royale. She has one of the most unique scents I have come across and for now that is enough for me to keep her around, but she would likely be the first to go if room needed to be made for new stock. She is a great daytime indica with a wonderful effect, light and uplifting with a clear head but the body is still put at ease. It is her flavor I find lacking, this is a second go with her and I will give her at least one more chance after this to prove she deserves a home for the long term, so we shall see what the future holds for her.

And finally the Love Fern, a unique treat in my garden so far. She is really showing her indica heritage with wide spreading leaves and a very short stature. I was not really prepared for how short she was going to remain so her yield will not be there, but I am certain she will taste great. I have already described her scent, but here it is again; a berry fruit blend with an underlying muskiness. Its kinda simple but so nice every time I bump into her. I am very much looking forward to trying her out and seeing what she has to offer. It does appear that I will have to fill half the tent with her to see what she can really offer me as she is the kind of plant that is meant to be trained. She naturally grows very bushy and squat which is the kind of structure that can really be spread out so all the branches become even tops and would make for a perfect canopy. And she is frosty as hell, not only coating the buds but the leaves as well.

And the whole family.

The very last photo is not supposed to be there, its a duplicate of the Divine Gelato from earlier in the post. It is frosty as all get-out but I think in person its actually the Love Fern that is the winner for frostiness. Truth be told, pretty much everything in the tent right now it super frosty, some times I open the tent and forget its spring outside with all the frost on my plants.

Thanks. I am so happy to have the Love Fern in my garden, she is truly something special. So far I have not seen any inter-sex traits so she will have a home in my garden until she decides to start to turn into a he.

Ok time for the totally random I'll get it up on here when I can update. So I have still been busy during the stay in place order doing work from home and tending to the garden. Since the last update the plants have really packed on the weight, particularly in the last 10 days or so. They will get one more very light feed tomorrow and then from there its flush time. These girls are all coming down in 2 weeks time. Normally I love the grow and have a tough time chopping down my plants, but damn I am so damn eager to get these girls down, I really want to try them out. My current jars are running a bit on the low side and I am looking forward to getting some new jars filled. Anyway onto the pics.

April 1

New round of clones to start. No real plans for them, but they might go to a few friends and a few will be my next round.

I took a few pre-flowers off the Love Fern the give them a quick try. Here they are before drying.

All the girls loving life once again.

Black Lime Reserve packing on the frost, forcing the leaves to curl up. It is also starting to put on some colors.

Divine Gelato starting to get nice purple. This is a beautiful deep rich indigo color, not like grape candy purple. The sweetness of this girl is now starting to be accompanied with a deep rich almost meaty aroma, it is really enticing.

The group of Cindy 99 girls.

Let the stacking begin.

Love Fern tucked into her corner. She is super frosty an smells great.

Crown Royale, not putting on the girth in the colas like the original plant did, but I will probably get as much if not more off her this time around.

I like this shot, a bud of the Divine Gelato and a bud of the Black Lime Chilling with each other.

The Love Fern pre-flowers, dried and ready to smoke. A bit on the harsh side but they tasted pretty good and the buzz was not bad.

Ok, this picture sucks but it shows how densely the trichomes are packed on this girl.

A quick showcase of the beautiful Love Fern. I think this girl has the highest density of trichomes, it makes the whole plant look like a minty grey-green.

And the whole tent today.

The beautiful indigo Divine Gelato.

Black Lime Reserve really putting on its lavender-pink hues that make her so beautiful.

Crown Royale

Cindy 99, I love how she is stacking. The buds have a knobby growth pattern to them that I adore. And her scent, which has been great from the start is finishing up just as nicely. I have waited many years to try this one so I am so eager to get her chopped and into my jars.
