im down inside right now from heat ,crank back up mid sept,,my garden outside taking a beating from heat now,,bugs are to a point of walking or flying off with my raised beds,,we had a bad hail storm need new roof ,waiting are turn for new one,,so gave perfect oppritunity to shut down get some rest,,if you dig me,,damn after 2 weeks im like crap,,thing is since storm and first sign of contracter ,i could have had another harvest,,oh well them bugs been keeping me plenty busy,lmao
im soil all the way bro,,tried the coco aint doing that again,,i stick with the easy stuff live soil,,inside and out,,waiting for the day to grow outdoors again ,havent since 82,,ya love that outdoor herb,,any day of week,lmao
Yea man soil here as well....Done the coco gig a time or 2...not for me...Love the no bullshit soil....no more ph meter in my hand or to misplace....I do check my soil ph tho from time to time...I hear you on the outdoor....last time i did anything outside was about 2002 or so....Started on but got nailed recently....Still kinda waitin on them to return....but so far so good! Fuck em, if they cant take a joke....One day soon I hope to be able to grow this thing how it was ment...really chaps my ass....literally one county over in my case like 1/2 a mile they are blowing it up outside...my county.....no outdoor permitted...yet! plug it in to another recepticual bro,,if it works ,youre pulling to much on that circut,,if not running onits own breaker,,they have a from wall meter you can hook up to your recepticals,,600 watt ballast is gonna pull 6 amps,,if you tied into other things ,you got to find one that isnt piggy backing other devices,,find one with minumal amps and your golden,,just dont think its the ballast ,,when i could be just pulling to many amps from that breaker if you dig
how that thing works is you plug it into the receptical and then plug your ballast into it,,turn light on and it will tell ya how many amps your pulling,,a breaker to be safe cant go any higher than 80% of breaker size,,if its a 15 amp breaker no more than 13 amps for that breaker ,,you dig
