The new "Stupid Questions" Thread!

I don't know about everybody else here, but I tend to have a million different "stupid questions". Questions I feel like I should know the answer to, but for one reason or another don't. There is of course no such thing as a stupid question, but labeling it as such is a lot easier than saying some along the lines of the last sentence. But I thought I might keep all my stupid questions consolidated into one neat thread. I'm not really sure if this is the right place for this kind of thread, I decided to use this one since my questions could cover such a broad spectrum of topics that they really would fit into any of the other categories I saw at a glance. Move it if you think appropriate, please.

Any who, anybody with what they feel is a stupid question, can feel welcome in this thread for judgement and troll free guidance. I'll start off with my first dumbass question.

On the section THCBay, are these seeds you are selling? Or bud for legal medicinal marijuana users? I thought probably seeds but wasn't sure.

Great Thread!
I got a Stupid Question...or maybe just one that is common sense that I just havent learned yet.

I am in flower right now and I have alot of small buds growing at the bottom branches that dont get much light, I have been reading that people remove those to get more energy to the higher up bud sites. Is it too late to remove the lower growth? Would it cause any extra harm to my plant if I remove them? I haven't trimmed any of them, But they all have different times, a few are 3 weeks in and a 4 and 6 and 8 weeks in.

Yes I like too until about the end of week three or four but i try not to up to halfway mark of flowering time and never more then ten to fifteen percent of vegetation at a time.... Some old school tomato farmers would defoliate every sun leaf but three per plant! I wouldn't go that far but i have had plant get sad with 5% defoliation so. Each plant is different but in general ease into it and watch carefully how phenos respond! Peace and chicken grease.....

You can remove them early up till buds start to form and even past there , trick is not to many at one time as the plant will shock and hermie and try to remove the leaves after they have used all there nitro... and have become sink leaves (no longer feeding the plant) take a few at a time and don't attack the plant all at once ..... now as far as removing all the lower stems that is a very debated-able topic.......my 2 cent and will def have some stupid questions to add soon..... good thread ........peace soser

Thanks you guys for all the feedback, there's bud growth, quite a few on each branch, whech is why I was kinda wondering if it would be a shock or too much stress to remove a whole branch or multiple branch's. I dont want itto hermie, not after all this work and efforts gone into it,lol

Pop the ones at week 3 and 4 off--leave the ones at 6 and 8 be. In the future take care of these around 2 weeks in.

sounds like the right answer to me that or add supplemental lighting at the bottom or sides next time depending or your philosophy personally i have seen some go crazy with shirting up the bottom , i do it but just enough to have a clean bottom to feed and eliminate most larf buds now if running a large garden i would leave as all that larf would add up to alot of shatter.. or butter... my 2 more cent .....

Thats right lex, I forgot about all the shake and stuff that goes to hash and things. I am gonna clip off on the earliest one and see how it goes. But I will remember next time at 2 weeks in or earlier.

Questions does anyone make spikes in there container with organic material (providing there organic ) was ready the TLO book today and thinking about testing it out ..... maybe start with worm castings , bone meal , and perlite with a little compost ? and for those who don't know what spikes are (like me till a day ago) ...its self made hole in the corner of the container after transplanting away from the roots , so when the roots hit it they get a extra spike .....

if you do this can you explain 1) your way 2) benefits you have seen 3) dislikes if tried and stopped ??? peace SoSER

Okay I have one...

How much does environment play a role is seedlings potential?? And what I mean is

If I made wifi, and had healthy viable seeds, how close of the offspring would they be, to say raskals cross. I understand the possibilities of finding different stuff, but I'm talking on the front side.... If two people in two completely different environments made the exact same cross w the same cuts, would you be able to tell the difference.

The crosses themselves would be statistically the same; the keepers chosen would likely differ based on their response to the environmental conditions.

The fire father is tough to replicate pheno and I don't know how hard the white mother pheno is to get? But that's a start, to replicate via seed good luck and I'm all ears lol peac3....and you heard the story about the ten friends who all got the same cutting from same host plant and went ten different directions... Came back 4'montha later with ten different buds I think it goes like that

I like the roots to use up everything in the container 100 % or as close by minimizing dry amendments and filtering compost teas...
