After looking up some things, I’m fairly certain those are cutworm eggsWell I will do another sweep through and make sure there are no more, I removed what was there. They seem very hard I could not squish them. Also didn't see any insect in or around the bud I found them on.
I watch the weirdest shit high man
Thank you for doing some digging, I will look into those, I didn't see any worms anywhere so fingers crossed there aren't any. After looking up some things, I’m fairly certain those are cutworm eggs

Good catch. Always a silver lining. Ya definitely learned a bunch about watermelon cultivation and training! You'll nail it next timecheck these out, i went to water the watermelon today with ph balanced nutrient solution. and under close inspection noticed these little buggers, i did a bit of research and sure there black aphids, i where on the right track with the calcium problem as they can cause this, i noticed this little calcium problem 3 week ago or so. anyhow the watermelon got binned, no way im risking these things. pretty sure they come from outside, good news is the watermelon did a good job and kept them away from my plants.
