Well I fell asleep watching hockey. Organized a pick up game with 8 kids 6 adults.....Thursday and Friday.....fucking tired!!! But wide awake at 5am 😁
Almost 7 am here lol

Spent the remainder of the day yesterday setting up scaffold and starting to paint at the peak, lotsssssss of painting to go,

Lots of prep too, i go around, any small hole gets hit with terminex termite and carpenter bee and ant killer,I caulk or wood flicker, then I’ll paint over, got one side of the wall near done patching, other side has been terminexed this morning I’ll do more patching, maybe paint tonight. My overhang is funky, at the gutter end it’s about 1 and a half feet wide, at the peak it’s 5’ wide, tapers out, (log house) of course I can’t scaffold straight up, there’s a porch half under it lol, so I’ll probably have to do some risky 30’ in the air scaffold tower and hope it stays up 🤣, but… that overhang keeps sides of the house fully dry ( I was up on scaffold patching and painting in the rain yesterday fully dry lol.

Lots of work probably 25 gallons of paint

You're an animal @Mikedin, those are the joys of home ownership....especially the log home you're in. We have the same time zone, just the other side of Lake Ontario.....so same bugs too 🤣. Last 5yrs those carpenter bees have been multiplying! I would estimate every 3rd or 4th light post or hydro pole has them burrowed into it!!

I’ve always built it and worked off it haha, I’ll runs let by scaffold, under 30’ I don’t even pin em, had may jacks up almost full extension though at 3’ they were gettin a bit shakey up top haha, but that’s only because I had to run scaffold then over the porch I had to run a pick over to a ladder jack straddling my side porch to hit the peak, I’ll have to angle out to reach the end of the overhang, I probably built scaffold for the first time… 25 years ago when I first worked for my dad haha, and it’s the same scaffold we used back then, I took some home to use around the house after he retired lol

Oh my gif man the carpenter bees fuckin in riddled one section of wall in Just over a year I’m like what the fuck man haha… so all killed and patched up, yep those stupid stink bugs I can’t find a single one outside but in my house… everywhere 🤣 somehow even get a few in the grow tent here and There I get pissed when I see em in there haha, termites are about average, minimal amount but you can tell a termite hole so gotta make sure they are dead dead before patching

Yeah this region is its own beast, gotta deal with torrential rain, blizzards off the lakes, I get the lake effect off Erie too comes across the state and north just right haha that’s why I’ll go to work with nothing and show a video driving home in a foot and a half of snow 🤣

The log home is a lot of work but we absolutely love it

I made a drastic change, we were more in the no so much redwood type style and wife wanted to go dark. I went coffee, it’s dark, went full house paint he had already transitioned the house over to paint so can’t go back to stain, so with the black fence and shutters we’re going dark coffee, this house is gunna be invisible at night haha, but then we’re going with bright red tulips and wildflowers across the front so it should fuckin pop from the street

Man frostette is gunna give us a a show this run. Fucking flawless, beautiful structure, scrogged our perfect, she’s day 19 from flip, she’s just about stretched out as she’ll be, her stack looks perfect, gunna be a ducking chunky tent. The new FC-E4800 is really kickin ass in there, she’s loving it, I don’t know if I’ve ever seen her this clean at week 3, not a single mark on a single leaf, the living soil run is making me feel bettter and better about the decision to swap over, unreal how nice they all run she’s got this 4x4 packed solid

First car was a 66 Impala. Bought it for $150. Was an Earle Scheib special and when boyfriend took it to the car wash all the paint on the hood bubbled up and slipped off. LOL

Got me to high school and work and gave my boyfriend something to work on when he visited. 😉
Was a terrible gas hog but that was when gas wars were happening and you could get it for 25 cents a gallon.
(damn I'm old. LOL)

These days beers just drag me down. I think I just raise different kinds of hell these days. Two to 3 beers in and I would be the first one up for doing some shady dangerous and fun shit. Getting old I reckon. 😄 Now I'm just up for shady and fun shit. 😆 The clock moves slower these days, and that is exactly what I've been working on doing... Reverting as many things in my life as I can as if it were 1984. That was the sweet spot in my life where everything was good and right, and I had the most freedom ever. Best life hack ever.

Mike, that water jug looks tiny compared to that fabric pot! 🤣 The one on the right has a really nice canopy.

We've done a lot in the last year to clean up our diet, hit the gym, and go to bed earlier. But, when Friday comes I take two ™Fukitols at around 6pm and let the chaos ensue.
To add, junk food these days is peanut butter, yogurt, honey, chocolate, and buckets of coffee. But, calories are calories either way! 😶‍🌫️

Last batch of Dr Seedsman CBD, 3 weeks since soaking the seeds, less healthy and vigorous than what i usually experience for this stage, especially one in large pot, but should be good enough with eventually an extra week of veg than what i usually do.
