Some brands advertise small nugs, and if it's the right size to thumb mash real quick and crumble right into a bowl, then I can see it. I like Revert cannabis' half ounce ground with hash in it. Pull out the pouch and scoop!

Let’s break this down into what can actually be done through selective breeding, growing conditions and without leaving the realm of real horticulture or food science.

I. The Closest Natural Candidates​

Some citrus and near-citrus hybrids already lean toward that milky look:

• Pomelo (especially white varieties): Huge vesicles, pale opaque juice, mild acidity. They already have a “soft” color and texture.
• Sweet lemons / limettas: Low acid, mild, almost creamy juice flavor.
• Kumquat–lime crosses (limequats): When crossed selectively, they can yield pulp that’s pale and low-acid.
• Grapefruit mutants with high pectin: These have thicker pulp and a cloudy juice base—your best starting genetics.

So a “milk orange” aesthetic could come from crossing low-acid white pomelo with a sweet orange or limetta, selecting offspring for:

• Pale to white interior
• High natural pectin (thicker pulp = creamier mouthfeel)
• Low visible carotenoids (fewer orange pigments → white flesh)
• Low acid and higher sugar for flavor balance

Result after a few generations: a pale, opaque, rich-tasting citrus you could actually call a “Creamfruit” or “White Orange.”

II. Environmental & Growth Tricks​

Color and texture can be pushed without genetics alone:

• Grow in partial shade or under diffuse light → reduces carotenoid development → paler flesh.
• Cooler night temps during ripening → slows pigment formation.
• Slight nitrogen surplus near fruit set → increases pectin and gives thicker, less watery pulp.
• Calcium-rich foliar sprays help firmness and cell structure, giving a denser, custardier feel.

Basically, treat it like you’re cultivating “silk oranges” instead of juice oranges.

Marines usually do pretty good with the public display thing, parades, bands, etc. So it was a little surprising they managed to shell the VP's motorcade with 155mm artillery. Not something we put on the resume, post service, which probably happened quite fast... or is that like Catch-22 where you can screw up so extremely that it loops around and becomes eligible for a medal?
I love that book, and I will defend the modern series adaptation.
