Can a 1000 watts run on a 10A IEC plug? Or dies it have to be 16A? Cuz the plug on my ballast is just a standard 10A fitting not the more square 16A tbf tho the plugs I had on were cheapo ones where you have to wrap the wire round the screws instead of a nice little box

Lol no I'm not mate haha I'm just glad I have a spare 600 to rock with or I'd of been fucked last night lol...I'm gonna go maplins tonight and try and find a good quality one man..

By the sounds of it your in desperate need of a filter matey I could do with one me self ......I went round a blokes house I help out now and again he set his new filter and fan up, I walked in his house and it fuckin stunk I said that's not right mate..anyway the cunt had only put his rvk on the wrong way round lmao he'd had it set up like that for about 8 weeks haha his grow was nearly done poor sod...he's still got 13 oz he can't shift cuz its all bitty and stalky 150's he wants

Dont you have a relay or contactor?if you dont u should.im not sure exactly how it works but it stops you all the melting stuff and blowing out shit.it just switches it off.melting plugs sounds VERY DANGEROUS ghetto.although im FAR from knowledgable in electricity i know these are a safety feature.
these things arnt expensive
i think you can pick em up for £20/30.it could save your grow from burning your house down(says the guy with the rigged electricity meter.lol)
Its just a wee box about 4/5 inches or so.well the one i have is that size but i daresay they can be bigger the more power you need to convert.the one i have has 2plugs and two sockets.i plug the 2plugs into my ectention(which also has a built in relay) and plug my light and extractor into the 2 sockets.if you had more than one light you could probably use a 2 plug adaptor but no more than that.any more and i think a bigger one would be required.but iv never had the problems with my light like that.iv had cheap segmented timers fail but thats it.

Another lad has just suggested one of those relay tbings on another site tbh I wouldn't know what to do with it haha he did gibe me a link as well tho for instructions ...so Yeh I'll hmfet one of those too like u say better to be safe than sorry man I'll have a gander later on

Just read it all and that's just for shitty timers lol....its gotta be the plugs I was using its just gotta be. I'll make sure I get a good quality one tonight I'll see if there's any 13A ones as well....its like god don't want me to have this 1000 watt ballast running or something haha switching back to that cool tube last night was soul destroying I tell thee

The great thing about the digital ballast is it auto shuts off if leccy isn't flowing through it correctly or any of that shite

Oh yeah i hate cooltubes.
ghetto i cant shhow you coz im not at my grow room right now and its riggged up but i,ll take a pic and post it wen i get to it.its just a wee grey box with 3 wires running from it.2plugs and a socket wi 2 sockets on it.im not 100% if its what im supposed to do but iv just plugged both plugs in to my extension and plugged my light and extractor onto that.its only a 600w light though.

Iv just noticed one of my sub rosa kappo kush (katsu bubba x karmas white og v2)is a female.its a small stocky pheno that must be bubba dom.i had my eye on that pheno for a while and hoped it would be female but in my experience the pheno i want to be female usually turns out male.not this time.iv ordered some biobizz all mix and 20ltres of worm castings so when it comes i,ll mix some castings into the allmix and some roughly ground up chicken manure pellets and pot it on and veg it for a while before i take cuts and flower it out.iv got a kappo at 5 weeks and its a similar pheno but it had mutated leaves so im not keeping it.its frosty as fuck though and smells awesome.really small though.really slow vegger.

I fell asleep talking to you last night ghetto lol wasnt ignoring you ... what size is the cable mate? It only looked about 1.5mm but your ballast says it needs to be 2mm minimum

Lol no worries man is that the inner wire thickness? I'll get ruler on it in a min

Lol thought I posted that.....just checked and the inner cores are 3mm
