You have to learn to tune out and pick your battles. Me and mine split up so many times when we were younger it's fucking ridiculous. In the end we both wanted what was best for our 3 sons, and we still loved each other, so we made it work. Married 26 years now.

@happy b thats exactly what i do, sometimes she's talking to me, I'm nodding and making attentive noises and i realise i haven't heard a word she has said and she has been talking for 10 minutes.

Its an art form.you gotta look OVER interested while being completely UN interested.if u dont do it right they see what your doing and ask you "what did i just say?" Then your fucked.

The true art is being able to let just enough filter in so that when she asks that question you can give a generalized answer, like... "You were talking about your friend from work" or ""..............................." the Christmas party". Most women would be happy that you know what she's talking about, if you've got one that insists upon hearing exactly what she just said then you are fucked but, you probably already were anyway with that one. lol

Hey Limo, that Gooey bean I started died on me. Sprouted a tail then died out for some reason. I guess it was just a death cup, the Sour Secret I started in that cup just broke the soil then died. No big thing, just letting you know I won't be running one of them this time after all.

nope but weve spoke , ive basically told her she eithor works at it or she doesnt , i can work on my issues but she needs to work with me aswell , marriage is about standing by the other person during the ups and downs .... i think she took it on board and we will see .... i cant force her to do anything but she knows how i feel about families and how i feel about weekend parents and she knows that id do anything to make it work so balls in her court mate

With the divorce rate being what it is these days it seems pretty obvious that most people don't take marriage vows very seriously anymore, one of the reasons we made it was because we did/do take it seriously. It's a very serious commitment that most people take too lightly. You seem like it matters to you, so make it work bro.
