You could always tie a little tape round her just to help her out.....I did it with a bubba kush it had 2 main tops I dropped the carbon filter on it and it split the stem right down the middle I taped her up a week later she was stronger than ever lol

Veg depends what you want from them, pot size and height of area, I'd top them asap and try to maintain the same height on all four tops till 12/12 that way once flower is induced it will be easier to maintain the even canopy, I'd also recommend caning them as soon as possible, just so you can get them tied right up the stem, holds them in place much better
