So out of interest what soils do people use in here? Normally during the summer months i buy the Westland with john innes from wilkos and stock enough up in the garage to last me over winter, however due to wilkos being crap at stock replenishment they have barely had any in this year so its looking like im faced with a choice of either canna or biobizz soil from the local hydro shop(pain in the arse 50L bags when you live in a flat with nosy caretakers) and ive never used either before but am thinking of going for the Canna soil to match my nutes.....

i had to unwatch n watch thread again to get the notifications to stop, just turning it off in preferences didnt work

Biobizz allmix has plenty of goodies in it but the texture and drainage are pretty poor.canna pro + is a great soil.as is plagron batmix.currently testing groth technology alpha mix.

Can't fault biobizz all mix I have had 5 good grows and used it every time

Yeah i must admit i prefer the potency of hydro/coco grown weed but prefer the taste of soil grown etc, have been seriously thinking of coco tho but it will have to wait till i can afford to change my nutes unless anyone knows if you can use canna terra flores in coco? If so i may switch n give it a go etc

I can't tell any difference in taste between using coco n soil personally , i use nutes designed for soil but not the canna range mate

Much of a learning curve or anything major to be aware of etc when growing in coco for the first time? Better to ask before i make the leap etc lol

Not much of a learning curve tbh , ph 5.5 - 5.8 , 10% runoff , bit more calmag or Epsom salts to keep the plants green but other than that treat like soil ;)
