I am aware of what causes hermies. Like I said before when people were talking about receiving cuts in the post you said u wouldn't do that because of hermie issues which I said is bollox

I enjoy a good conversation especially when everyone's being so diplomatic. In the other place I grace with my mind boggling magnificence discussions like this tends to start serious arguments where the original debate is abandoned for name calling lol...although I do enjoy a good argument like when ppl flush (damn sons of bitches)but here its alot more chill.

I said I didn't like the idea of cuts being sent through the post because of the risk of hermie but I'm also thinking u fuckers have some nice strains so it's worth the risk :) so 8 ready when u wanna send me some stardawg :)

Top and bottom of it is belive me or not there is risk of hermie when subjected to a long period of darkness and then put under a 18/6 or 24 hr lighting especially if the dark period hits the 36 hr mark which is stated in many things Ive read puts the plant into shock to force flower now before the flame thrower comes out and u try turn me into guy folks please note I said RISK and not defo best thing to do in my thoughts is if your guna get plants like that only get 1 take a cut and put it through the motions of coarse imo or do a little digging into what u got it seems anything with s1 in there is the highest risk :)

Also I might add that maybe a long veg might take the hermie traits back out of the equation :) little food for thought on that 1 @Limonene check that thread I mentioned and join in the convo it's good to have as many points as possible to find or try and find the answer :) u got some good points

i thought you had the stardawg? i used to regularly give my plants 36 - 48 hours darkness pre flip(now i just do up to 36) and have NEVER had a hermie. Like never. Its just all these unstable polyhybrids that are going around are prone to hermie, cookies, kush etc etc. A lot of the time its just poor growers looking to blame a failed crop on something when they probably had a radiator with a big red power light in the middle of their grow.
i don't see the point of joining the discussion, there is no answer to be found.

I've got 2 pheno of the dawg but there's loads I love it and wanna see if u got any different I will send u 1 of mine if u want when there ready again also I think your missing my point on the light thing if u shock a plant into flower then tell it no and put it back into veg when u wanna finally flower it again there is risk of hermie from your own admission and from seing your grow u veg the fuckers for ages I'm saying this might re stabilise it some how fuck knows maybe maybe not lol its defo worth thinking about and if u know everything there is to know about growing and don't think the breeders that are in this convo can bring anything to the table u are a lucky man :)

i definitely don't think i know everything. Again i bring you back to your original point where you stated you would never send clones because they would probably hermie. Then you changed your tune to it being S1s. There maybe some truth in what you are saying i just don't care enough or know enough to get involved in a big debate about it. i am just saying your original point was a bit silly. No more from me.

Original point isn't silly it's absolutely on point your saying u can ship cuttings anywhere with no light with no risk of hermie and I'm saying your wrong and I've also said why I think your wrong since that 1st convo I've done lots of reading and chatting that's 100% backed up what I said and from these convo I've found that s1 are more prone and thinking of how s1 are made kinda makes sense what u do with that is upto u just a quick thought why would the guy feel the need to invent clone shippers :)
