Morning mancdank and morning UK growers in general, US growers go to bed lol.

If there's a problem boobs can't solve it's not my kind of problem :)

When I got bud rot I should have realised not enough boobs.

Whilst your about what sort of weight do u get out of 1 of them set ups u run and how many lamps or what sort of power are u using ?

This is a new clone I'm trying blue cheese, we have grown it out before but only horizontally under a parabolic, it's not the best yielding of the seeds we grew out but it was by far the nicest smoke. I'm running 2 400w now I was going to run 2 600w but then I remembered I leant them my friends lol and have there 400w. This clone is a little stretchy but with a net taking the stretch out is actually very easy I think you can grow just about anything which has a flower time of 10 weeks or less. I would love to see someone run this with c99 7 weeker clone, perpetually as you could do almost 7 grows a year with that lol and give a new meaning to production. I'd like a g/w and I'll be happy.

My friends have run this with blueberry from dutch passion (an Indica) pretty much exactly how I ran it with 2 600w in a 1.2m tent with 12 plants instead of 15 and they took almost exactly 43oz on the first run. We're only vegging 3 days after we go into the pots, I take clones into soil/coco in 0.3l cups once rooted I put them under hps for 2-3 days to harden them off then I pot in veg 3 more days and go flower. 2 weeks after potting up I take them apart add the empty pot and restack also add 2nd lamp. Then you should add netting as well I fucked up adding it too late netting will help you control any stretch.

So basically 14 days with 1 600w and then 53 days to harvest with 2 600w for most people would be the right setup although you might need to upgrade ventilation in my case I just had to turn the fan controller up a notch. My friends had a power meter plugged into the lights only on their last run and the lights used 900kwh for 1204grams it's veg where you really save. If we grew these normally we have vegged a minimum of 2 weeks with 2 600w==just over 200 units. Which would have really upped the usage. Of course you need to add fans to that and for my grow I also need a heater lights off so my efficiencies are going to quite a lot lower. Also being able to take over a kilo from a 1.2m tent is also an advantage.

I also know someone who donut'd it and they took just over 4ooz from 1 600w but they needed to do 24 plants and they had a 6 foot * 6 foot grow box only 1.2m tall in their attic that was insane. You're going to struggle to donut this in a 1.2m tent I tried and burnt everything to shit. They grew Pot of gold flying dutchman. Donuts are a lot of work but of course the rewards are also very high. If you did 36 plants you could go to 2m easy and 2 or 3 600w.

You can seal the pots up with drain fittings if you manually raise the pots (Or the whole tent with a pallet and some ply) they you can get drainage for recirculation, I would recommend drippers it's virtually impossible to hand water now and I'm using drippers with organic feed but I use the reservoir up every time and manually time the drippers, I.E I wait with them under they run off, I use 8l/hour drippers. Also definitely do hydro unless your organic nut as the results really will be better.

I'm only growing organic because I was asked by a friend to try out some organic nutes to see if there any good I wanted to do fytocell.

I might do a donut after the summer I have considered building a ply room 1.8m*1.8m*2.4m and make the door 1.2m wide with one sheet of ply then I can hang one row of planters from the door and whenever I open it I get full access to the box and plants without having to lug planters in and out the tent.

Fuck the amount of power being used u had me at 40 + oz in a 1.2 tent have u got any more pics ? :)

Only of my grow my friends do not want pictures of their grows posting which I cannot argue with both have priors. My mate who donuts it you can't see them anyways lol once they grow up he cannot get in there he just pulls them back where he thinks and lets them do their thing, they're drippered and he drains straight into his overflow in the attic.

Only the guy in the attic uses cool tubes I would go bare lamp as you're going to lose a fair chunk of light to the glass and to the vent at the top of the tube.

The guy in the attic is the happiest of all of us with this lol as before this he never managed to get a crop successfully because he only has 4 foot height, he only has a 2 foot entrance which makes it impossible to access them but he keeps telling me he's going to fit another 2 2 foot entrances so he can access the corners not that he can do a lot lol.

My mate says they're like the matrix as no one can tell you how to run one of these it's something you have to find out yourself because every strain is different and you're going to have to enjoy scrogging and trimming which is a work of art in it's own way lol.

I'm ok at the scrogging and dire with the trimming, it's best to remove the stuff you're not going to pull through the net which I haven't.

With an aerocloner you can take clones from the plants a week into flower and keep them in the cloner until the planters have flowered out transfer in and be in flower within a week of harvesting the last one I should really have done that lol.

macdank also I keep forgetting me and my friend are running it wrong lol you're meant to run it like this with 18 plants which I think would make quite a big difference to what you can get but I'm only using 400w so I reasoned I needed less area.

When you run it like that you get exactly double the grow area I'm getting about 50% more.

I grabbed this pic off ebay I never bothered chaining mine up they're stable as long as you don't hit them and now I fitted the net and scrogged into it. The canopy weight will be on the net which is cable tied to hanging bars at the top of the tent and the planters will not need supporting. I was wondering how to hang the net

Maybe a telescopic pole in the corner and fix that way :)

Sorry I never finished the sentence before posting I meant to say i wonder how to hang the net in the setup pictured as you need 2 bars to hang the lights at 45° and 2 bars to hang the nets although maybe you could use a strong coat hanger that rotates to hang the lights from and then you would only need 1 bar for hanging the lights.

Or I suppose just use a 2*1 piece of wood 1m long and lie it on top of the bars on the Y axis and hang all 3 on the X axis. The you could put hooks from wilkos into them and cable tie to that.

I used a bud box yield shelf I had to cover most of it but used some semi solid rigid netting that's green for the bottom bit so you can't see it in the pics lol that I got from B&Q was quite expensive £4 for 1.2m wide sold by the 1m expensive but works well.

Would u be able to hang a bare bulb in there and cover the other side? I really like how those pots stack like that man your making me rethink my shit lol

Getting 40+ oz is making me rethink I'm getting that of a tent double that size same amount of lumens but still space can be a massive factor in wether your guna get a good crop or a better than good crop :)

Not in a 1.2m, although maybe you could do it with a 400w lamp and cool tubes especially if you used it side ways on and scrogged it. In a 1.5m yeah no problems with a 600w bare lamp they had it set up like this in the shop when I first got a set with chillies. They sealed the pots off with hose fitting at the bottom and used an empty planter as drainage all those hoses linked to a bucket which they pumped out every few days but apparently they're spacers available soon which replace empty pots and enable you to recirc everything easier and are cheaper than the pots.

you thinking all 4 sides with a couple of 600`s in a vertical coolube in the middle? lol
Lol nah just the 3, 2 sides and the back but Yeh I can imagine it getting frazzled...the way that's done tho with the back and the side looks mint

Yeh those stackable pots are fucking genius but can u hand feed em or had it all got to be set up on drippers?

I was hand feeding them but now I fitted the net I can't get in so I added drippers, Since the tent is square you could rotate them 90° with the lights and then you could then get access to the top of the pots. Then use a watering wand and water pump to "hand water" with a 20l bucket if you don't want a res which was my plan originally but then I put them at the back because it's easier on the eyes lol. You can also gain access through side ports to hand water them but my tent is in tight and I cannot open the side ports.

I'm using a hailea hx4500 £15 to power the drippers and a 20l bucket which I drain every day then wash out. They are thirsty I expect to use a lot of water lol.

I will use dehumidifier for last 2 weeks but if you have good ventilation this shouldn't be an issue.
