I'm not saying read it and use it as a bible what I was saying was it's got methods and ideas that aren't the norm he was mentioning about the differences in light there are many un orthodox methods personally I'm still a beliver of if your getting more than 1 gpw theres not much that u can do to improve that and anything above is a complete bonus but a good friend has tried the 36 dark and all the rest of that routine and swears by it I haven't got around to trying it yet but when I'm able I will defo do it and diary the fucker and get it posted :)I have that book....its a p.o.s. spiral bound ol thing but some good info.....
They state that by havin ur night temp 10 to 15 deg warmer than day time can increase yield by up to 20%
This guy went from 7 from 15 lights to 8.5 from the same breed from the same room all temps and everything dialed in same food only difference was light hours it's defo worth a look into I don't know if he done any fucking about with night time temps though :) I'm guna ring the fucker later and find outI don't blame ya mate lol 20% sounds tempting tho haha....I need to build a nice big shed in me garden for growing in only problem is only thing I can build is a joint lol...been googleing shed designs haha
Bro don't make it too big them fuckers from the raf might wanna come snooping :pI don't blame ya mate lol 20% sounds tempting tho haha....I need to build a nice big shed in me garden for growing in only problem is only thing I can build is a joint lol...been googleing shed designs haha
Oh yea u ain't got the raf lolIll build ya the poshest shed u ever seen 2 stories the deal......
Bro fuck the nice small cellar for a big outrageous 1 :) I know guys who put multi gyms down there thinking the extra co2 improves the growth even bang there Mrs down there for the same reason lol I ain't even guna try arguing with em about it lol me personally would fuck the gym off and ram the place with lights with the extra money I could join a gym with sauna and jacuzzi and maybe even a couple of dirty weekends away with the mrs :)Yes a cellar would be grand...I know an old fella who has a nice little cellar he grows in would suit me down to the ground...I need to get a new job and what not tho before we go tryna move house tho
Bro biggest problem u will have will be extraction when every fuckers shed is covered in snow yours will be steaming :) before u bud the foundation for the shed get some of that big yellow gas pipe I always get people to nick me a bit from work and dig out lay it and back fill it ground temps in this country are cool all year around and by time the air comes out it will be cool obviously the more heat requires a longer run but it does work with 0 heat signature from the grow :)Haha Yeh that'd raise a bit of suspicion lol...the plan is to get a shed and put a 2.4 tent in covering the width and then a nice 1.2 the other side to veg in then I'd be doubling my output and shit would be happy as Larry lol
And when I say 0 I mean 0 I use temp guns for fault finding at workBro biggest problem u will have will be extraction when every fuckers shed is covered in snow yours will be steaming :) before u bud the foundation for the shed get some of that big yellow gas pipe I always get people to nick me a bit from work and dig out lay it and back fill it ground temps in this country are cool all year around and by time the air comes out it will be cool obviously the more heat requires a longer run but it does work with 0 heat signature from the grow :)
That fucker will be around with the strips making his legs bald lolBless em....Yeh I can imagine hot liquid butter over the legs being pretty damn painful like hot wax...get gnome to come round and rub some.cream in
Yea man stay away from the cases of red stripe and bags of coke u just end up talking shit all night and getting fuck all done :)Haha nice come back....you on that ninja trim Yeh have fun man red bulls and snacks at the ready
I'm liking the heat sink idea bro that will work well in spain in the summer months I don't know why but it's something that has never enter my head and I'm pretty well known for thinking outside of the box :)There are things you can do to deal with heat signature the first thing that springs to mind is heat recovery and the 2nd thing is put a plastic swimming pool up near the shed and use that as a heat sink. Air to water heat exchangers from boilers make excellent heat capture/recovery radiators I bought a few off ebay a lot lot cheaper than ICE boxs and just as affective I cooled 4 600w no issues with no air intake/extract with 1.
This is the book I have I have the latest edition cost me well over 0. It's a university text book basically so the reading can get a little heavy lol but it's well worth persevering with.

it's excellent has a lot about phytochromes and crytochromes which control circadian rhythms (day length) which is easy to manipulate using Far Red lamps (And normal lamps if you need to extend day length) there's a thread on here about phytochromes I wrote a lot of it lol.
It does really work and I can make a 9 week strain into an 8 week strain with almost no loss in yield but you need some crazy wiring lol to make it work properly and specialist timers. I can also extend the flower seasons of most strawberries only pulsing a low wattage light at them which I love and how I mostly use my lamps I have 4 of them lol.
I basically am not going to have another go until I buy a USB relay so I can use a computer to control lights on/off and lighting patterns.
But that book sounds a bit heavy for me I'm they guy that u can dump all the tools and materials with and know it's guna get done but dump me with a load of heavy books and it's a different story :)I'm liking the heat sink idea bro that will work well in spain in the summer months I don't know why but it's something that has never enter my head and I'm pretty well known for thinking outside of the box :)
Also it was a laser thermometer that I W's referring to :) the 1s we use are made by fluke I belive there about £100 or summat my old gaffa had a thermal imagining camera but there a few grand for the 1 he usedThere are things you can do to deal with heat signature the first thing that springs to mind is heat recovery and the 2nd thing is put a plastic swimming pool up near the shed and use that as a heat sink. The thing about the helicopters is I went around a 6000 plant grow 2 years ago after it had been busted I have photo's somewhere of the aftermath this grow ran for just over 16 months before they busted it. Helicopters fly over the area daily as it's an industrial estate. It had over 200kw's of lighting in the place and obviously the meter was bypassed. They only found the place because of smell the helicopters never had a clue! So either the police are fucking retarded or helicopter busts are almost all propaganda lol.
I would be more worried about the police with laser thermometers pointing at my windows then a helicopter and my friend who's a copper tells me they use them a lot of a lot if they suspect a house of growing they will often be used before anything else happens.

Sign me up I'm very interestedmancdank if you have garden you could easily put a cheapo plastic pool in the garden and a shed close enough to the pool to pump water between the grow and the pool. In the UK this would be good all year long! You will need to keep the pump going 24/7 to the grow otherwise in winter the water will freeze in the lines when not being pumped I was going to draw water from the filter lines on the pool if I did it. Which are well below the freeze line in winter.
Above ground cheapo pool is better than in ground for this application as it will naturally lose more heat if I used an in ground pool I would double the volume of water I needed.
The equations to work this out are very simple if you used a 18foot round pool you could capture heat from 8-10 600w with no issues in winter and 4-6 600w in summer. Ditch the swimming pool covers though and get used to swimming with leaves lol.
The advantages of doing it over winter is heat signature and also you can seal the room for CO2.
Really surprised I've never seen any Americans doing this I guess when I finally do do it lol I will not be the first but might be the first to do a diary about it :)
