After a brief N tie up while the microbes finally began fully degrading the shit out of this Coco, (top dress being applied weekly almost) we are back on track. Had to add a fair bit of extra N which should be working through now. This is the recycled coco rocks project you may remember. The plant is Crockett's Afternoon Delight @ day 38
N ppms added for those curious equal to the full complement of 160ppms this will be kept up now since the N value of coco is insufficient to maintain ideal growth rates

man you have a knack of making growing a plant sound really complicated! plant looks ok though.

it is complicated, the long and short of the test is I can know with some certain fact how long coco will last before it degrades and so throws off any nutrient feed programs. If i can catch it, I can put together a model for people to grow in a single pot of coco for 3 years before replacing it :-)

I guess its as complicated as you want it to be. I prefer the KISS approach.

this will be a KISS, the science behind the internet is complex, but the everyday user dont need to worry about that. The system will be the same. It will mean you just cut a plant for harvest, dont bother throwing out the coco, or digging out the old roots, just plant another transplant and go with standard G and B nutes that have already been tinkered to accommodate the complex minerlisation that occurs in media overtime. it will save money on coco, stop loft growers smuggling canna in to the house in front of the nosey next doors and prevent people tipping synthetically polluted coco root balls out in to the world

yes i get it, its a great idea. I use coco bricks and move any large bags in a big suitcase while i wear a suit. Noone would ever guess....
