No man. U aint gonna hurt the roots w a few stakes....i usually put 4 to 8 stakes in after the stretch and add the rest as needed.
Some plants i do stake right when i start flowering (b4 the stretch) if i wanna spread the pkant out...a good example wud be the wifi here which w/o training wud grow straight up and doesn't branch out w/o help

Here goes apologies for photo quality....Make what you want of plants!

The lot in first pic were greatly abused by being without lights for 2 weeks while cupboard was built. They are all UGORG Old Times and the lot in second pic are same again with 1x Barneys Critical kush!

The buds in first pic are denser than a dense thing, have been using General Hydros 3 part with a dash of Canna PK13/14 last cpl of waters.....Started flushing now. In a multipurpose soil mix with perlite, 2nd lot are in H&G Special Batmix.
