These ready in Ohio rain coming

I’m in Ohio today is September 20th we are to get rain tomorrow and like 5-6 days in a row should I be concerned about bud rot I see a few amber trichromes but a lot of pistils haven’t changed color yet

From another Ohioan, I'd advise u remove all the dead and yellow leaves u have. Their like a neon vacancy light for mold. You'll want as much air circulation possible at this point.

They've been crying wolf on the rain, since July. All the ponds around me are down 2' or more, and my grass sounds like dried leaves when walked on. So there's that.

As long as it's not a non stop rain for several days, then several days of no sun and wind....I'm not too worried

Looking at the weather we are supposed to have rain possible tomorrow but then rain everyday ending on Friday I guess the temperature is favorable all of those days is mid 70s and lows in the mid 60s so you think we’re good for no bud rot? Thanks

Hard to say. It'll definitely be favorable for it. Depends on if we have breaks in the rain, and have some wind to help dry things up, in between showers, and if the sun comes back out after the rain moves out.

Last October, we had 3 days of continuous rain, followed by 5 days of clouds with no sun or wind. Those that pulled after the rain, got most of their crop, those that went thru the 5 days after, lost most, if not all their crop to bud rot.

We're a little earlier in the year, with better temps. But I also don't have big colas to trap the moisture, as some do, either. But big enough to have some concerns, though.

But yeah...I think we'll be fine.

What part of Ohio u in, if u don't mind. I'm in the Akron area.

I’m in Dayton I have 12 out there lol tallest is 8.5 ft tall it’s about as far a long as the one I have photos of on this thread some have not as thick flowers and almost all white pistils so they have a bit to go hoping to wait till the harvest moon on the 7th I think but I don’t want to lose them either my wife wants me to pull the 4 that are close but if I feel this bud rot won’t get me I want to let them go

I see they've already changed the forecast for Akron...as usual. Dayton eh.!
U mean the city that's been the epicenter of flooding in past history.
Its where Ohio started, with the canal system for commerce and pig iron to build RR tracks. Which in right..became the demise of the city itself, along with the flooding. With the train, sights were set on lake Erie for moving commerce, and the end of using the canals.

Ohio is the A hole of the country for weather, we see all kinds of shite, and it's as shaky as a dog crapping glass.

There is a chance of rain for 5 days straight. Mine are like 5% amber. I'm pulling all mine except one that isn't close.
I ruined a lot last year because of three straight days of rain. Followed by high humidity so they couldn't dry properly. Not making that mistake twice.

Im right around you. This is exactly what happened to me I lost everything. Pounds and pounds.

I'm north of you in Southeast Michigan and grow Autos for insurance. Harvested them a couple of months ago.
My photos are so close, but not close enough to pull yet. I like my trics 10-20% amber, but rarely get them that far.
This year I have such a variety of different bloom times, hoping to be able to finish something.

Remember it well. Can't remember what I walked into the next room for, but to watch a buddy loose 85% of his crops last year to that BS, I won't forget. My neighbor pulled on the last day of rain, only lost a few choice buds from a couple plants.
