Hi I run 10 1000 gavitas with around 65-70 plants in 7 gallon pots. I'm thinking about switching over to 5x5 led light. Typically how many plants do people fit under the 5x5 light?

I do 8x4 trays with 2 lights, 1 gallon pots, and fit 32 under a tray. One square ft per pot.

LEDs aren't gonna penetrate like HPS will, I suggest running more plants in smaller pots unless you can trellis the shit out of your 7 gallons

A little hard to tell but that's what the canopy looks like with that many plants per light

Thank you for your reply, any feed back helps

Yeah man even if you cut the amount of plants in half and put them in two gallons, you could still do some work under the lights.

Yes do it. Don't over spend. There will be a change in uptake. So compensate. And the white light makes it easier to see issues.
Changes in uptake? What did you have in mind
