Yup, too much light. Turned it down to 80%, still a tad bit high but i wanna see if she can adapt. Maybe i should bring it down to 70%.... il watch for a couple days, drop if needed

So cool that you can calculate the parameters with an app like that! I never got into the digital game yet but Id like to monitor everything with an AC system and a lux meter at some point. I guide myself based on the response of the plant so I would have done the same in your case had I seen the yellowing tips at the top but having this information prevents you from having to deal with that to begin with, which will certainly optimize growth.

Are lux meters from free apps reliable? I think I saw someone mention them one time here, but I just assumed that since its with the phone and its free it must be shit, maybe not, if you know let me know please!

Photone isnt very reliable without the diffuser for your phone camera, but the tent buddy app seems to be closer to accurate! @PooToe told me about it and it helped a lot on my first grow!

I just realized that i didnt have the DLI hours set correctly lol should be 18, which would probably lower the DLI to about 42, so still slightly too high. Maybe i should cut it down to 70%.....

What do you guys think? Would you wait and watch, or would you lower the light intensity more now since shes already showing signs of stress?

Im gonna let @PooToe guide you on that one since I never relied on calculating DLI and if its possible to surpass the daily maxium recommended without negative consecuences. I know that some plants can take a lot of light and some cant, thats all I know hahahaha usually the more familiar I am with the strain the more I have an idea but I cant help you here.

That said I think 640umols is pretty reasonable for mid-late veg. Sometimes I give them more than that if they can take it.

It also depends if you want it to stretch or not. Im assuming you want it as compact as possible like I would so I try to push to the max and even if the tips are a bit yellow (not as much as yours though) I keep it going.

Yea i noticed slight yellowinf yesterday but its a little worse today so i figured its too much. This plant is compact as FUCK though. Il show some pictures after trim and top, its pretty crazy how stubby this sativa is. Maybe its like that because i had the temps down so low for so long? I dunno, all i know is shes growing way faster than my last plant did

Might be, or the strain if its a different one, or the pheno, or the ammount of light if she was getting more this time hahaha you will be able to recall. Usually when they grow compact is because youre giving them a lot of light but it also highly depends on genetics, even if its the same strain unless its a clone, but even with clones, if you have enough, you will get taller and shorter plants here and there its just way less likely but it happens.
The faster growth also makes sense since this time youre taking more care of the parameters.

Are you supplementing any fertilizers or are you using soil nutrition and water only?

Could be your plant is taking up nutrient faster than the soil can make it available.

Sounds to me like you have a sativa dominant hybrid. Sativa landrace genetics typically come from warmer climates so you can run them hot without issue.

Yea im using the purple cow liquid biosupercharger, the liquilife, and the powdered bio supercharger. Using all of that once every other watering, so about once a week right now

Heres how she looks this morning and righmeow, much happier :)

Lowered light intensity to 70%, MIGHT lower it a little bit more because she looks like shes drooping towards the end of the light cycle, im assuming that means shes getting a wee bit too much light

Hey man! She looks like she is healthy! I dont see any worsening on the tips. They always droops before the lights go off thats normal behaviour dont worry about it. If you watch any weed time lapse that captures both light and dark period you will see how they start drooping before the light goes off, theyre just preparing for sleep. The same way they prepare for the day a bit before the light turns on, thats why you dont see them droopy but they are droopy during the dark period. Sometimes you will catch them waking up if you take a peak right when the light goes on.

That actually makes perfect sense, now that im thinking about it i remember my other plant drooping right before lights out too! And that one i caught on timelapse so it was easy to notice and remember lol

Speaking of timelapse, figured out what was going on with my camera! SD card was glitchin out so i had to remove it, plug back in and format. Backed up all my files so i didnt lose anything in the format :) you guys will start to see weekly timelapse from me again!

Nice! I was wondering about that since your last time lapse was last week or so, I thought you stoped taking them because of that glitch, glad to know there's more incoming! Its a great way of seeing how they behave and as I said the other day youre the only person I know that was doing it in the forum as of now, I always love me some good time lapses, fascinates me how they seem still but you see a time lapse and you see how bussy they are!
