Ok guys.... i started another new timelapse (lets hope it works) and then i trimmed her up with my drip system watered, then gave food right when i finished trimming and drip system still has time to run so it pushes those nutrients down with the water :)
I did a REALLY heavy defoliation this time around. I dont wanna do it again until harvest so i felt like it was necessary, and since im immediately feeding and watering shes less likely to go into shock from nutrient deficiency from losing almost all of her fan leaves.
And check out those fuckin genetics, the spacing on those nodes is insane!!! Shes literally maybe a foot tall from soil to top of main stem but still 6 nodes! I love it, so cool to see.
Just flipped to flower tonight as well, so lights out will be at 6am until harvest. Also changed the spectrum of light :) vivosun does a lot of things right. They just need to fix the damn humidifier before i explode.

It annoys me that a saucer is standard the water will run in to that and the plant will suck it back up it's a waste of feed if you ask meYou havenāt much height left
get a saucer to put under the plants instead of letting the water run off on the floor
I can see the stains from it your tent must be getting pretty wet a simple saucer will fix it

I just accidentally gave too much water at once while i was trying to test out the threshold of how much water before runoff. Its optimized again, no runoff :)I withdrew my op which you quoted as I realised itās an ebb and flow system I think & i donāt know how that works & how the water left a stain ⦠maybe there was a overflow or something I donāt know as I donāt grow that way nvm
Ideally you would pour away anything in the saucer
I grow organicly so I donāt water till run off

I use distilled water so i have to avoid runoff whenever possible. Id say i gave about .5-1L too much that time and its just dried on the ground lol
Just a regular drip system with 2 halos to ensure water spreads through the entire medium lol
Haha hell yea man! I actually finished my first plant, was great smoke! Really gassy and sticky, super smoothe, mega stoney.... loved it. This is my 2nd plant (a seed from the same growers as my first plant) and its way outpacing my first plant lol didnt even have to think about a 2nd trellis with the first one. This one is INSANE! Lanky as hell and reaching for the stars. Hoping i get some fatty buds off this one :)lol
Looks good youāve not much height left mind
That said betcha youāll enjoy your own weed for the 1st time.
I time I remember how exciting waiting & watching her grow was then my first ever harvest
It was kinda funny I grew some bubble gum & silver pearl my pallet wasnāt used to flavours and I spat out the bubble gum ranting about the bubble gum taste haha I gave it to my ex & smoked the silver pearl witch I loved it had a real nutty taste I kept chewing on it as the flavour was so nice
Years later I grew bubble gum again & appreciated it still that first one lol
You canāt get mainstream bubble gum no more that had the same taste itās all strawberry tasting now
Im gonna drop that next timelapse this week :)Wow its looking like its gonna be very productive! Even the buds below the net look like theyre gonna get a good size
Yep sure is! I turned it down to 65% this time, last time i left it at 100% the whole time and my buds came out a little too light and airyReally sweet pics! Is that the same light from the beginning of this thread?
Um, I was just going to say it looks like the light could be stronger because the plant looks like it stretched a lot before it got really close to it. Once they got up there they started looking more fat and healthy.Yep sure is! Howdy the plant looks healthy!Hey everyone! Im growing a seed i got from a bag of Platinum Garlic OG from Triple Seven out here in AZ. Iv had some trouble keeping the temps down where my grow tent used to be, so i dedicated an extra room to it. I was keeping my temps between 70° and 80°, but with the new setup i think i can keep temps lower. Anyone think il stress her out too much if i lower temps by 5-10° on average? Shes only about 5 weeks old at this point.
Il post a couple baby pictures too so everyone can see her progression :)
Growing in purple cow indicanja soil using distilled water with a humidifier running basically 24/7 (AZ dry as fuck) in a 3 gallon fabric pot in a vivosun 2x2x4 grow tent with a 100W dimmable/adjustable vivosun aerolight
Yea i actually was running it at 100% for a while and i started seeing some signs of light stress on this plant, so i just shut it way down to about 50% and slowly increased again until the leaves were praying super happy and just left it there.Um, I was just going to say it looks like the light could be stronger because the plant looks like it stretched a lot before it got really close to it. My strategy is to keep the light strong and raise and lower it as needed. If I remember correctly you are using a 100w light. I would definitely suggest running that at 100% for the best results.
You're doing great in a small space! Yeah sometimes seedlings and veg probably need 50-80% if you don't have the height to adjust but I have a sneaky suspicion the LEDs just don't perform their best unless they're cranked to the max. And I will be the first to admit that is my own bro science opinion and not backed up by any facts whatsoever!Yea i actually was running it at 100% for a while and i started seeing some signs of light stress on this plant, so i just shut it way down to about 50% and slowly increased again until the leaves were praying super happy and just left it there.
But that would make sense though, maybe i should have brought it up a bit more during stretch so it didnt stretch so crazy. Figured that was just cuz its a sativa lol
Got a lot to learn still lol
