One thing that is funny (sorry Ill stop trainwrecking after this but since Im also contacting purple cow...) I contacted Top Crop to ask whats in Micro Vita, their microorganism powder, they said they couldnt tell me because it was secret. My answer was "Thank you for answering but I think its a poor marketing choice because me an many people are not gonna buy it if we dont know if it has the microorganisms we want or just a few". Next day: "Oh I asked and they allowed me to tell you" and he sent me a pdf. Lets see if its gonna be that easy with purple cow, they still have not answered me.

Yea iv got an email out to purple cow right now as well about my stuff that came in broken, but i think they were all off yesterday because of labor day in America. I think lol so theyre probably gonna reply to a lot of people today

I got the bioactive supercharger + liquilife bundle, but the liquilife cap must have burst durin transport. A bunch of it was spilled out, and i dont wanna use that on my plant because i dont know what other microbes have worked their way in. So im just waitin on them to replace it for me lol amazon wants me to ship it back, i think thatd be a dumbass idea lol

No they wont ask you to ship it back, they will just replace it. Or at least thats what most companies do, if something you got didnt arrive in good conditions they just send you another one. Most likely they have tranport insurance too, I dont know if its a thing in the US but I guess its the same as here, if something breaks during transport they get a compensation from the transport company. Unless they send their own trucks and vans, then its on them.

That said, I would still use it. I dont think there was any harmful microorganism around. Even if some of the liquid came back in it should be safe. Plants are exposed to every day microbes all the time, it would be very unlucky if a serious one happened to be there or a virus or fungus spores. Id ask for the replacement of course but I would use both bottles hahaha.

Hopefully they will be reasonable and help you but maybe they will want to blame amazon since they were the ones who shiped it and they would be in their right but it wouldnt make them look very good and companies hate bad PR so they'd trust what you said and replace it even if some ask for pictures rather than leave you unsatisfied. Also fuck Jeff Bezos

So i decided to get the true organic seabird guano and i found some epsom salts there as well! The seabird guano is granular, says to mix into the top soil. Does anyone have any experience with this stuff? Can i just mix it with the nutrient solution and pour that in?

Also, i plan on setting up a small scale fertigation system for this thing, and i found out theres some small fertilizer injectors out there that could work perfect for what im doing. Cleaning and maintaining a small ¾gallon jug would be way easier for me than cleaning out a 5 gallon jug lol

I premade a gallon of nutrient solution a couple days ago and im letting it sit in a pitch black closet to see if it doesnt start growin shit or lookin funky. I dont have a microscope or even the knowledge of what to look for, so i wouldnt be able to tell if all the microbes died in it lol but i can at least tell if other things are growing.

If this little experiment works out, il be able to make a more concentrated nutrient solution and hook that up to the drip system that i have. I can turn it on or off when i want it to feed, and otherwise just let the distilled water run through the big reservoir. And big bonus, the nutrients would never be running through my drip systems pump, which means i wouldnt have to worry about cleaning that out

That’s crazy they’d want you to ship back a bottle of liquid that was leaking upon arrival normally to ship back you have to go to an Amazon center or a UPS store and I’m sure both would refuse to ship leaking containers

Yea it was their stupid AI, kept telling me to send the product back. Had to dig around to finally find out how to get ahold of a person lol was easy after that :)

Feed n water day and i feel like SHIT lol

She doesnt look like she has any deficiencies now, lookin pretty perfect actually. Hopefully she doesnt get nute burn, but i did lower the dosage of things a little bit just to make sure. Time will tell.

Gave her only ½tsp of epsom salt this go round, since the deficiency signs disappeared im just gonna take it easy on the nutrients. Gave about the same pf everything else as well, but i gave 2½tbsp of the seabird guano, since thats what it recommended and shes just barely starting to flower so im sure the extra phosphorus is gonna be niiiice for the buds.

Im gonna get a small timelapse every time i give water, just cuz i thinks its cool as fuck lol you can see the color change back to normal from pale green in the timelapse, its so cool

Is it better to defoliate a plant right before you give water, while youre watering, or a while after?

She needs a haircut and tonight might be the night regardless of the answer, but i was just curious

I've done it both ways after and before. My time is mornings when i do most the maintenance but i don't think it makes a difference to the plant and yours sure looks healthy don't think it would bother her abit.

Yea i did it 2 ways in this grow so far, thisl be one of the last trims for this grow. First time i did it right before watering, 2nd time was while i was watering with the drip system lol

My practice is to water then defoliate. Defoliating opens up multiple places for water to weep out of the plant so their having a supply to replenish from makes me feel better. No science that I have to offer to support my practice but, so far, they seem happy so I keep doing it.
