I might just end up suckin it up and buyin another vivosun clip fan... lol im lazy, i just want everything to work through my vivosun app hahaha but @Eledin Counted his exhaust fan, so if i count mine i actually have 2 fans 🤣
"Thanks dude! 😁 good to hear youre working fine with a single fan right now. Do you keep thaylt fan above or below your plant? Im assuming its above the canopy to keep the airflow around the buds moving."
Well I meant a single clip fan. I use 3 fans total, intraction fan which moves the air on the lower canopy, clip fan on top of the canopy and then the extraction fan above the lights to suck tho hot air out.
Also no response from purple cow yet, I doubht they will respond, I would not buy from them (personal opinion).

Apparently theyre not so excited to help you 😂
Duuuude thats actually a little frustrating, but they got back to me pretty quickly on all my questions. I might reach back out to them with your same question and see if they answer me. I guess its possible your question got lost? Doubt it, i think either someone bein lazy, doesnt wanna share info, or maybe their master grower is just taking his time to give a good answer. Took a while for me to get an email back last time the master grower gave me an answer too.

Hey man i THINK i got the answer to your questions fron purple cow lol not sure why they got back to me so quickly but not you, maybe just because im an active customer of theirs? I have no idea, that would be stupid if that was the case.

But anyways, check out the screenshot. Let me know if its missing anything, i cant remember where your message about it is in this thread lol

Hey everyone! Im growing a seed i got from a bag of Platinum Garlic OG from Triple Seven out here in AZ. Iv had some trouble keeping the temps down where my grow tent used to be, so i dedicated an extra room to it. I was keeping my temps between 70° and 80°, but with the new setup i think i can keep temps lower. Anyone think il stress her out too much if i lower temps by 5-10° on average? Shes only about 5 weeks old at this point.

Il post a couple baby pictures too so everyone can see her progression :)

Growing in purple cow indicanja soil using distilled water with a humidifier running basically 24/7 (AZ dry as fuck) in a 3 gallon fabric pot in a vivosun 2x2x4 grow tent with a 100W dimmable/adjustable vivosun aerolight
9 finger leaves are crazy, super healthy

They totally didnt answer the question hahahaha. I know that NPK shows at a low percentage, like in all soils unless you buy a heavily ammended one. My question was about where is the phosphorus and if that was your questions they said a lot without saying anything really. Maybe they dont wanna tell us where the phosphorus is in their nute regime.

To be fair, the plant is acoming along very nicely so there must be something we dont know. Ive never seen a brand which doesnt have phosphorus in their base liquid

I found the phosphorus!

Thats a high ass ammount of phosphorus in terms of ratios, I bet its designed to compliment the other which has 0.

Its possible, she did say that the microbes continue to make phosphorus available to the plant throughout the grow, so maybe its a sort of slow release thing? I have no idea lol my plant is happy though, thats all i can ask for hahaha

Thar she blows! Is that a dry mix as well!? Fuck yea! Thats exactly what i want, im gonna get some of that stuff for my next grow.

Planning on growing a sativa called Silver Summit next, also from Triple Seven lol il do that grow with ONLY the purple cow products just to see how everything goes, itl be a good test for that brand and everyone will get to see the results :)

Although so far, iv almost exclusively used purple cow on this grow as well. Aside from 2 half doses of bushdoctor calmag from foxfarm and a single dose of the seabird guano, this has been strictly distilled water and this indicanja soil in just a 5 gallon pot, and the bioactive superchargers the past 2 waterings and the liquilife in only the recent watering. So i feel like iv got a decent use case for their stuff from just this grow lol

Microorganisms can make phopshoric compounds available for the plant easier yes but they cant create phosphorus by themselves so still the low ratio in the soil in there plus the 0 ratio in the liquid youre using had me confused. But then seeing their all purpose fert makes sense.

Yes to be fair that soil is delivering in terms of nutrients so far but if youre gonna get their fert its even better! Maybe the soil will get depleted before its time, and if not, more money that you save and honestly hats off to them for such a solid soil. The seabird guano definetely helped too, what NPK does it have? seabird guano can have inmensely different NPKs thats why I ask.

Yea man so far iv been happy with the purple cow stuff lol il definitely let you know if things dont continue to look good though

As for the seabird guano, its got a ratio of 6-12-0, with 7% calcium and 1% sulfur. 4.5% of that nitrogen is slow release i guess. I got it specifically because it had the calcium and sulfur in it along with the high phosphorus count lol easier to give this than to give the calmag with epsom salts and also have to use something else for phosphorus. Its gonna last me a good long time too since its a dry granular fertilizer. I havent noticed any burning or bad effects on my plant as of yet either

This plant is goin crazy! So cool watching it grow every day. I even found out how to make a GIF out of the daily pictures i have so far, il leave that in here too lol water day :) just distilled water this time. No nutrients or microbes or anything like that.

Not sure if its gonna let me post the GIF lol lame

Looks like you timed it just right. The verticals look to be around 8" - 10" long. Now that you are in flower you won't see much branch growth as the plant is focusing its energy on the flowers.

Most LED lights will effectively penetrate around 10" - 12" into the canopy so you should get good light exposure to all your flower sites. The only thing I would do is to maybe trim a few of the fans to allow more light and air to get down deeper but she is healthy so probably best not to mess her with right now and let her do her continue doing her thing!!

I just checked out a picture i took yesterday right before i gave her water, and compared it to today, just 24 hours later. And holy shit yo thats some crazy fast growth! I CAN NOT wait to see this plant in full flower!

She is looking great! Healthy leaves, a lot of coverage. You were gonna get the fert from purple cow right? I have a difficult time thinking that such a big plant will have enough with the soil even if ammended.

Il definitelt keep you posted! I ordered that fertilizer, should be here pretty soon :)

I cant stop taking pictures of this plant lol looks so damn cool, really havin a ton of fun with this!

Purple cow nutes arrive tomorrow :) i dont think i should use them just yet, probably gonna be a week or 2 before i use any more nutrients. Aside from microbes i suppose, might give those in the next watering

You can remove the filter. The filter is to remove odor but it is restricting your fans performance. Not by alot but if it isn't necessary no reason to have it.

The ScrOG net you put up should prevent your plant from growing too high. I try and keep everything under the net until I start seeing pre pistils sprouting then I let them go vertical. The exhaust fan you have needs to stay there for air circulation.

I wanted to clarify this by saying that I didn't mean to leave the fan hanging inside the tent. I meant it needed to stay as an exhaust fan.

@AZreefer suggestion to mount it outside is a great way to free up space inside the tent, especially one like yours where there isn't much room for any gear.

The one thing I would add is to have a way to exhaust the air inside the tent outside the lung room the tent is located. For your 2 x 2 it isn't a big deal but in a larger tent where you'll have multiple plants the moisture they create needs to be exhausted away and not recirculated within the lung room that is feeding air back into the tent. Dumping the inside tent air back into the lung room will eventually raise the humidity inside the tent. Maybe not a bad thing in your area as the southwest seems to be perpetually dry but as general practice you want to exhaust the air your exhaust fan pulls out of the tent to the outside and not back into the lung room that supplies air to the tent.

Fan and exhaust
