I wanted to clarify this by saying that I didn't mean to leave the fan hanging inside the tent. I meant it needed to stay as an exhaust fan.

@AZreefer suggestion to mount it outside is a great way to free up space inside the tent, especially one like yours where there isn't much room for any gear.

The one thing I would add is to have a way to exhaust the air inside the tent outside the lung room the tent is located. For your 2 x 2 it isn't a big deal but in a larger tent where you'll have multiple plants the moisture they create needs to be exhausted away and not recirculated within the lung room that is feeding air back into the tent. Dumping the inside tent air back into the lung room will eventually raise the humidity inside the tent. Maybe not a bad thing in your area as the southwest seems to be perpetually dry but as general practice you want to exhaust the air your exhaust fan pulls out of the tent to the outside and not back into the lung room that supplies air to the tent.

Yea man il definitely have to worry about that eventually, but for now im actually happy to have that humidity stay in the room hahaha this place is so stupidly dry it sucks ass lol

Tiiiiime for an update! Not a ton of pictures today, but im giving water right now so heres the weekly timelapse :) let me know if any of you feel like i might be able to water a day earlier, she seems to have stayed completely still the entire day of the 13th in the timelapse. No growth or perking or drooping of leaves, just hung out that day.

Also i found out how to get rid of the darkness through half the video. I can program my camera to turn itself off and back on at certain times. Constantly learning lol

Also @Eledin i got that purple cow fertilizer today! Looks like some pretty good stuff. I dont wanna use it just yet, i think im gonna wait until around week 5 or 6 to feed again, around the time i defoliate again.

They are looking nice, bud development fastening now that she is not growing as much 😁
I would 100% start fertilizing for such a big plant. If you start lets say at 50% I doubt there's anything bad that can happen to your plant, maybe a few yellow tips but that doesnt bother the leaves. That said I always try to push the plants to the max with liquids, with top dressing is more risky thats why I say 50% strenght. But if you dont wanna start yet thats fine too I dont see signs that they are hungry (which doesnt mean she couldnt use more, she is just not yellowing)

I only didnt wanna use the nutes yet because i just put that seabird guano on there, and they both have A LOT of calcium, so thats really the only thing holding me back haha i think she could use more phosphorus honestly. Im just worried about overdoing the calcium. Although i guess i dont really know how easy it is to do that? How much calcium is too much usually? Would i have to WAY overdo it, or does everyone think itd be fine to add now? Seabird guano had 7% calcium, this purple cow fertilizer has 4%

Oh forgot totally about the guano, how long ago was that and what strenght? The calcium in purple's cow all mix is from bone meal so it should release slowly unlike the calcium in guano.
EDIT: Also what npk does that guano have?

That was about 10 days ago that i gave the seabird guano. Last night was the 2nd watering iv given since then. Every watering I also gave the powdered and liquid bioactive superchargers, and that liquilife for the microbes. The powdered supercharger has 1.25% calcium in it, so shes also getting a steady stream through that as well. Not a lot, but its there.

The seabird guano is 6-12-0 with 7% calcium and 1% sulfur. While the purple cow is 4-6-4 with 4% calcium, 0.75% magnesium, 1% sulfur, and 0.25% iron, and also has some mycorrhizap fungi in it too i guess :)

I know, theres a lot goin on there, and only real way to know if i hit her with too much calcium is to try ot and watch. Buuuut maybe someone will have some experience with it already lol

I have experience with it because I use liquids and dry ammendments 😛 so I know both worlds. Youre not gonna overwhelm them with calcium but I dont know why that seabird guano has no K, you need K to process N... otherwise the plant wont be able to metabolize it, so its not an all purpose guano Id say. I would make them a banana peel tea for K and then top dress at 50%.
Also the microbes you only need to use like 2-3 times per grow to make sure theyre there in big ammounts (1 time should be enough but 2 or 3 is just to play it safe). Dont be using microorganisms every week they want your money, once you put them in the soil they should be in high enough numbers for the rest of the grow in about a week or two when they colonize all the roots. Companies will always tell you to use liquids than cant easily harm the plants more often than you should.

Feed small ammount of suggars during the grow for the microorganisms and get to higher ammounts during bud fattening for the microorganisms and the buds. The suggars will make sure that your microorganisms thrive.
Youre not using any suggars as of now right? You can use molasses but if you wanna buy a liquid I would go with bud candy. I use molasses and sweet beetroot juice for the microbes and dont use bud candy until the bud fattening phase which makes it really unexpensive. If I used it all grow it would be a bit expensive.

Go easy on the molasses though because you want your microbes to still need the sugars from the plant in exchange for nutrients! Add too much sugar and then the microbes that just love sugar will multiply and chow and sugar lol.

Actually that liquid bioactive supercharger has a bunch of sugars in it for the microbes:) specifically made to go along with the liquilife too so i think those mocrobes are in a good place haha

Yes, good point, I forgot to mention that since molasses doesnt come with a recommended dosage in the label hahaha.

Great then! I would still use more suggars for bloom unless its stipulated that it has suggars for bloom and not just for the microbes. Bud candy has the specific suggars that your plant needs for fattening buds. While molasses only contains glucose, which is perfect for the microorganisms and also some for the plant, bud candy contains glucose, maltose, rybose, xylose and galactose all of which are used by the plant. It also contains a bit of magnessium and potassium for better assimilation of the suggars, resin and vegetal extract aimed to increase essential oils in the plant. As you can see, its on a different level than molasses.

If you say it has a bunch of suggars I assume you say different kinds of suggars or high suggar concentration? Are they listed by any chance?

Hey everyone! Im growing a seed i got from a bag of Platinum Garlic OG from Triple Seven out here in AZ. Iv had some trouble keeping the temps down where my grow tent used to be, so i dedicated an extra room to it. I was keeping my temps between 70° and 80°, but with the new setup i think i can keep temps lower. Anyone think il stress her out too much if i lower temps by 5-10° on average? Shes only about 5 weeks old at this point.

Il post a couple baby pictures too so everyone can see her progression :)

Growing in purple cow indicanja soil using distilled water with a humidifier running basically 24/7 (AZ dry as fuck) in a 3 gallon fabric pot in a vivosun 2x2x4 grow tent with a 100W dimmable/adjustable vivosun aerolight
Nice! I remember my first time.... I'll never forget how awesome it was 😁 Your plants looks great. If I had any advice for a new farmer I would say keep it simple. The least amount of moving parts the better. The least amount of additives the better. The least amount of money you have to spend the better. It makes it easier to pinpoint mistakes, easier to see where you can improve, and easier to see what works. I think you'll be an awesome grower and I see you growing lots of dank in your future. Keep on trucking brother!!

Yes sir they are listed! Il see if i cant find a picture online real quick, im at work right now so i dont have access to my stuff righmeow lol

Ok i found it, looks like theres 3 different types of sugars in there along with a couple acids as well

Seems pretty good! I just have this weird obsession with suggars dont mind me, most people are more than happy with just molasses. You have 3 major suggars there that the plant can use aswell as the microorganisms I think its safe to say they got you covered, also its 2% each so its well loaded.

Im not a big fan of sucrose but I guess its still suggars in the end. Sucrose if Im not mistaken is similar to white suggar, which I would never feed to my plants. But I might be wrong here or maybe theyre just aimed towards the microbes.
