Cool man...I'll be interested in how that goes.
I took more cuts today...I changed my mind...Im taking and keeping more copies...
I have to keep the Avatar and the Green crackX alien kush and the tropicoma..and the grape invaders
If i dont keep one, I will be sorry..im sure...so im copying almost everything

This is basically mandatory- how will you know which the keepers are until they're all the way through, so keep them all- and toss the trash when the harvest separates the keepers from the chaff.

right on, I can get a few of the cookies, but I have so many other things I am working on I haven't decided to play with any of the cuts yet. I will watch how yours turns out for sure for a future reference of pics. Thanks for sharing your pics!

Your wish is my command- I have someone coming soon who wants to do exactly as you suggest. Drop your clones, specify when you want your plants, how big and what they're curling their toes around, and pay half up front. Come back at the appointed time, pick up your cuts grown to your specs, pay your balance and as the Brits like to say, "..and Bob's your uncle!"

Now, it's time to see who wants to take advantage of such a service?

This is a good idea Ty. The only drawback I see is for people who don't want others to have access to their genetics. In a lot of cases people get cuts with restrictions put on them which would make them unable to use this service. Your buddy (and all his workers) will be stoked to pick and choose genetics from what comes through his door though! lol

Seems like it would be a great service for people that say want 100 Blue Dream, 50 ISS, 150 Super Lemon Haze, etc.

I personally wouldn't/couldn't give my cuts to someone running a company like this.

Cool idea though and I hope it works out.

Those trees are looking killer Ken. Going to have to whip out all the Arborist gear come late October!:mask:

Since every customer would also perforce be a personal friend, I don't see that as a restriction. If someone wants to keep their genetics to themselves, that would be fine with us- we've already discussed this, and it only makes sense to guarantee people's genetic exclusivity. It would be a conflict of interest to do it any other way.

I'm impressed, Ken- and I was just talking to someone about Redwoods!

Really? If you could gather some contact info and PM me with it, I would be in your debt, sir. I'd just want to talk to them about their business model, potential and pitfalls, that kind of convo.

I have solutions for this, too, as cross contamination is a primary concern. I would offer the client several options...

This Poor dirt farmer was having trouble making clones..So I broke down and bought a cheap air cloner
took 6 days for the 1st roots (avatar)

The rest have started making roots!

How long should I let the roots get before I plant in soil? (already planted those two)

They are in cheap kellogs potting soil for now and seem to be doing fine even though the cats chewed on em again! :banghead:
It gets hot in that room so I open the door..Got to keep it shut I guess..or get a screen door.

Mean while...my outdoor is rockin! :)

Kellogs works fine, not a thing wrong with it.

I hate cats around my plants, the fuckers inevitably shit in the pots, or chew on leaves, or at the least get hair on the flowers near finish and no patients want hair in their flowers. Next year I am putting carpet tack strips all around and on my soil just for those bastards!
