Thrips, will they ??

i have a small sea of green, the cuttings gifted had thrips, didn't notice until about a week ago, they are 6 days into flower. I am worried that they will move to my RDWC system. I am usiong 5gal buckets with 10" tophats full of hydroton. Can they lay their eggs there??

Thrips or lacewings are soft and weak as cannabis pests go. Nearly any insecticide that claims to kill either should be effective.

Neem is my usual all-purpose recommendation.
