For all you new farmers out there. Proper watering techniques with runoff, along with proper drainage will promote strong and steady root growth. Roots need proper aeration to allow them to breath, growing and searching for the nutrients they need to thrive. Without this, your roots will suffocate. This is one of the most basic and overlooked issues in hobby cannabis cultivation.
**ALWAYS ADD A LITTLE BIT EXTRA PERlite ~20%-30% more TO YOUR MIX EVEN IF IT ALREADY HAD PERLITE IN IT**
I started these seedlings in BushDoctors CoCo Loco. For all that know and don’t know, this stuff is loaded with all kinds of preamended stuff. Kind of like ocean forest. Too Hot for seedlings?
NAH! With proper drainage and aeration to the roots I think a plant can grow in ANY mix. Let’s get back to basics, stop over complicating and over mothering you’re plants. Watch the video for tips on great watering techniques.
(No they do not sit in the run off. I allow them to drain, place on dry paper towel which absorbs the remaining moisture and back into the tent they go.)

Hey, here's the competition, https://www.thcfarmer.com/profile/978301/
I've changed how I water the plants. I posted another video but I don't want to spam your thread with my videos.

Digging the leaf structure and growth. Very uniform between the 4 of them. Both lights seem to be performing very equal.

Looks like I need to up my game a little. You make me look untidy lol but I really am more together than my photos suggest. A photo can tell a thousand lies LOL!
They look very healthy. I've only 8 of the 13 up and besides one the other 7 are doing well. More may have surfaced today, I have yet to check but if 7 is all I have to work with, the Magnificent 7 it is!
I have posted more shots of some of the BK and a couple of videos but I don't want to plaster them here. They are easy to fine.
What's the plan with these babies of yours? Will you sex them and grow out the females or have you something else in mind?

Thank you. Some say I’m very OCD. Cleanest house around. They are feminized seeds, so I know they will already be female. Digging the coco thus far.

Digging the CoCo Loco. Better growth then ocean forest. Tomorrow is day 9 since they popped. 3gal
Coco loco with added 30% extra perlite to finish these babies off. Fuck it. Prolly have to water 2x a day. My buddy’s friend bought some Pounds of disgusting dirt weed for a Grand/pound. Wish my shit was dry. I think there is more in this than I can even realize.

Hell can still pull $1800/lb here. Light maybe a touch high?

Thanks. 6k is pretty reasonable price. I’d just like it to work as little as it has to.
Small space it's gonna be on off a lot. If you oversize it will be even more so. I would run a 2k if it didn't cost an arm and a leg.

I run mine off an inkbird controller. If you are using a controller make sure you get one that is manual or has autorestart because the controllers work by cutting power

I’ve got the inkbird i608t or some shit. Would that one work? So the smaller the better, I can get a 5k like pronto.

Day 9 above ground you say. I have been counting since I put them into their pots on the 19/07/20 which was 10 days ago yesterday. I count this way rather than from when they break surface because they can pop up at different times and I need to be able to remember what is going on. That said, the 8 Kush that did come up all appeared on the same day. I've 5 no shows. 8 out of 13 is not good. These beans have been kicking around a few years so that might be why but I know you guys probably think I drowned them LOL! You could see where I might have problems with their birth date of 19/07 if some of these no shows were to show up now. I probably shouldn't hae labeled these until they were all up. Is there a proper time to start the clock on the beans? I've, for no other reason than it seems to make sense to me, always counted from the day I pot the cracked seeds into pots. I am sure in the great scheme of things it hardly matters.
I believe, I could check, it was the 23/07/20 those 8 broke the surface so that would make the 7 days old. We have a race and its a little closer than I first tgought.
My goal with the Magnificent 7 is to fill a room, 8x8 thereabouts, with around 36 or so of these Biker Kush. I have never liked " Feminised" seeds and other than one time I've always used the standard beans. I just don't like the method usedto produce these bean but each to their own, whatever works. I need to find " True" females that won't change on me at 5 weeks into flower. This happened to me once and it was a nightmare. I started last October with 5 True bubble females and today I have 22 too many! A rather unique problem to have, too many plants.
I have never grown Kush before so you being out in front a few days lets me see the competition and what I should be looking at. This will get interesting as we get to flower, the time it takes and what we end up with. Had I grown Kush before I'd have a better idea but ideally I will get at least one ounce per plant/clone and I plan on at least 36 clones. I've 36 5.5 litre pots and although I could get more, 36 is a good number and I don't need to be greedy.
Nothing mskes God laugh harder than the plans of men.

My little champions. Look at the temps. Fuck. Nothing I can do as of now. Rooms not done. By next week those babies will be air cooled. They are taking the heat like champs. When I see genetics like this, I know it’s going to be a great ride.

Can you give them more humidity?
Ya but I’m a bit lazy right now. Just finished my 3rd 60hr week in a row. Another week and they’ll be in the ideal environment. They are trooping right along currently. Thanks for stopping by.
