I'm posting some photos and asking for help. I've probably have 2 more weeks of being able to leave Mary outside. We had 1 night they called for frost and I covered her. I dont want to pick too soon or late. This is the first time so am very unsure. Thank you all for any help.

Jewlers loupe

Yeah you need a scope to look at the trichs

I did notice one or two spots nothing major keep a eye out though if it gets cold.

With serval pics mashed into one it’s hard to blow it up enough to guess albeit without looking at the trichs that’s all anyone can do.

Looks pretty close and with the threats that come with an outdoor grow, I’d be inclined to harvest.
I don’t see any new white pistils and that’s generally when you enter a good harvest window.
And it’s not like trichomes follow a predictable and reliable schedule. I’ve let buds that looked ripe keep going to wait on more amber trichs. Two weeks later the trichs were not much different and the buds had lost a noticeable amount of their terp profile.

Jewelers loups [30-40x] are fine for pests, but for trichomes you need a 60-100x lighted mini microscope.
Aim for 10-20% amber globular trichomes.
Do some reading on the effect of ripeness on psychoactive effect.
There are lots of threads like this at this time of year, you can find some good info by searching the forums here.
With a quick look at your pics i would say you are at the early side of your harvest window.

With the closer pics I can see a few white pistils popping. If your weather is ideal, it probably wouldn’t hurt it to go a bit longer….a week perhaps.
It’s hardly ever advisable to harvest if there is consistent new white pistils throughout the buds. A random one here and there is a different story.

You want to pay attention to the buds trichs and not the leaves.

I'm fighting weather. I'll cover it. I've got maybe a week she can stay out.

Can you tell any better with the pics I'm sending now. I know im pain in butt . I just know weather and plant changing quickly. I dont want to wait too long or jump to quickly.
