Timer broke late flower now reveg!

I'm on week 6-7 and was about to harvest in probably 2 weeks. Just found out my timer has been broke and my plants have revegged! My buds already have the new leaves coming out and the little hat that happens.

Im guessing if I fix the timer, the plant would get back on track in about a week or two?

My question is, should I trim off the new growth coming out of my buds so that they look "normal"?

Your in for some very funky buds, lots of stress going back & forth like that, I'm surprised they haven't started to herm out yet.

Yea I'm debating on whether to chop them. I have another room flowering I can put these in but I'm worried the risk of them herm isn't worth it if the buds are not gonna recover.

Do buds at this stage even have effects?

Hard to say, worst case scenario finish em out & make concentrate or edibles if the buds lose their appeal.
