timer drift...

So my digital timer for my lights has drifted about 20 mins off my phone clock. Not that it matters but I'd like to match my timer with my phone. Will 20 more mins of darkness mean anything or do something detrimental? Or 20 more mins of light ... for that matter.

20mins extra dark is fine, you'll be gouda!

Always more dark then light when there is a mix up with light. Its more natural for a plant to get shaded then the sun come out in the middle of the night.

Maybe you should get a new timer...? If it can drift 20 mins, it could probably drift a whole lot more...

20 mins drift after being on for about 2 years...also who's to say the timer drifted...could be my phone as well.

Timers definitely drift at least the appolo ones for my pumps do. Ive found that by resetting the time each grow they only get off by about 2 minutes by the end of the grow
