Timer Mistake

I have to ask this because I'm not to sure but my plants are on a 18/6 veg cycle and are 3 weeks old. Yesterday the lights go off at 6 and on at 12 but when they went on I was working in there and must of hit the timer and after 5 hours of hid light at 7 they went off until 2 this morning (5 hrs off). But I do have 200 watts of cfl ' s on a different timer and they stayed on. Is it possible I messed up their lighting times and stressed them?

Thank you all for replying. Timers do suck and i have 3 separate timers going now. Need to find an easier way. Just to keep it simple!
