I put some under my tongue and then swallow it and within minutes i feel medicated. Some pretty good stuff if you can take the taste. I reccomend trying the glycerin first as most people seem to like it most and then check out the cider. Have fun and enjoy tincture. Peace out

I was thinking back today and i remember going to my cousins place once and he was making what he called hash oil. He grinded up some dope and put it in a jar with everclear. Then a few weeks later he put it on the stove and slowly cooked off the aclohol. I dont know why i remembered this today but it got me thinking is tincture just a rough method of making hash oil? Sorry if thats a dumb question but i dont know much at all about hash oil or tinctures.

We make alcohol tinctures a couple of ways. the first is using a 3 minute quick wash using chilled 190 proof ethanol and frozen plant material.

The one we make most often however, is our pot wash. Every time we do an extraction, our pot has a film of oil left in it, which we re-dissolve in hot 190 proof ethanol. Normally we just add that to the next batch, but if you use it as a tincture, you can make extremely potent and tasty medications.

Sorry I took so long to reply.

The method I posted shows how to make a very potent tasty tincture of cannabis, not alcohol. The alcohol that is left is not enough to give you a buzz.

If you follow the instructions and use 1 gram of hash or 1 quarter of dank converted to hash for each 30 ml bottle you will have quite a potent concoction, lol. :ninja

I use half per bottle now and my wife takes 15 drops/.5ml (a teaspoon is 5ml for reference) for migraine headaches. She tried 30 drops once and was not comfortable with it.

If you have a quarter, you can make one very potent bottle of tincture 30ml in size. I usually make it into two bottles, it's that strong.:cool0041:

If you leave the everclear then it's known as green dragon, but you can boil off all of the ever clear, even in a 180*F hot water bath, to make hash oil.

thank you..now would this type of hash oil be smoked or applied topically?

Either or, you can eat it too, smear it on your tongue or a piece of bread/toast. :)

You can smear it on skin as well, like for skin cancer and such, from what I've read and seen on the 'net.

Just make sure you boil off (and be safe about it) all of the alcohol, which has a boiling point of 170*F I believe, for everclear.

finally found a place that carries vegetable glycerin (Im in canada) most dont even know what it is .

Ill let everyone know how it turns out im gonna use a 1/2 O of my delicious blue cheese

I used 14 grams with 2 cups of glycerine, now that im reading again I think I messed up and made it to weak can/should I add more ?

Should be more potent then. Your good. I usually put a 1/2 oz per 3 cups vegetable glycerin. Your fine just keep on rockin

awesome !!!! glycerin is amazing my first batch made with blue cheese tastes like blueberry honey , ive been puttin it on my toast and peanut butter
