Hey all, im a new grower.
I ordered myself this box with a 320w Led light. Grow box and 320w LED
In the pics you can see the seeds i ordered.
ILl be honest i know the germentation process and thats it.
How many plants can fit inside this box? I hoped for 2-3.
I chose autoflowers cause i wanna learn first and i read they are more beginner friendly.
Any advice on setup grow are welcome
Thank you

Autos are not beginner friendly I don’t know where you got that from but it’s a total myth & absolute rubbish… seriously some people grow about 2 runs then think they know everything & post the worst information between them & blogs its a minefield trying to figure what’s myth , bro bro science and what’s actually legit.

My battery is running out, so I won’t be able to go into much detail.

With autos you need to hit the ground running to get a nice harvest in other words you need to know what you’re doing to get a harvest worth your time. One fess up & you easy end up with less than a oz

Photo periods are much more forgiving, if you fess up you can get the time to sort it out before flowering.

If my eyes don’t deceive me I think you can fit up to 4 in that tent

Nvm if you already ordered the autos ask when you get stuck & am sure folks will help you out

It’s not like you brought hemp 😉🤣 still should get you some nice thc coated flowers

Make sure you don’t overwater, all the best

Good luck & happy growing

Damn ordered already. But the plus side is i got 5 Sour Diesel photos as a gift so i can give potos and autos a chance.
Well ive been reading and reading for the past week all about autoflowers what to and not to. So the basics seem okey not really sure what type of nutrients to give them. Do i need root boost for autos early or but im sure ill find the answers or someone here will help me. I planned on doing 3 plants at first to see how it goes. And im a little curious about the soil i need. I found alot of different opinions and im not really sure which one to belive.
Thanks anyway but im Sure ill start my Grow with "Sherbet queen"

Ok here is a suggestion
See those 3 horizontal bars upper left? Hit those and navigate to forums. From there look into categories and look for grow diaries.
Once in grow diaries you can use the spyglass feature and add terms like autoflower and the type of media you are going to grow in like soil, coco or straight hydro.
It will then populate diaries that cover what you want to do.
A lot of folks will say that autos are not forgiving and that is true but by setting up a grow tent proper can reduce miss steps.
You can go 2 ways with germinating and planting autos. I use damp paper towel until sprouted and right into final pots. Some have luck with solo cups and repotting.
Also wanna start a fight up in here mention topping autos. Lots of ways to grow pot just find the information before you start and lay out a plan.
And then do not drive the plan off the cliff. Make changes and acknowledge the f up and move on.

@JIMKSI64 is an experienced grower and you should check out his grows.

Autos are not hard, they just give signals that are too little too late, so you need to be proactive. That means, if you mess up your feeding schedule by trying to just wing it instead of following an autoflower feed chart your plants are toast. I did this. Check my indoor grow and you'll see. Cpurola's Indoor Grow

I have grown autos and photos outdoors with really no problem except for the ususal pests and disease. This is my first time indoor and it's turned into a 'shit show'. Advice I was given: Follow one person's style to achive a harvest. Didn't do it. I'm finding it's all about staying true to the schedule, while micro managing things like timing for watering.

For example: I fed the girls way too much fertz. and they push it to the leaf edges and fried them. So, I flushed the 5 gallon pots and they seemed better. Recently one of the pots felt light and I checked with a moisture meter and it was ready for watering, but the other three were not. Checked the next day and 2 of three were ready, but not the 4th.
PITA, but you are a slave to the plants if you want them to give you what you want.

Also, keep good notes, you will forget. Okay, enough for now and yes I've had my cookie about an hour and half ago. LOL

I decided to grow mostly for my Wifes chronic back and leg pain. But also cause its something i really love and enjoy. Im sure ill be able to understand learn and practice what i learned.
Thanks for the head up im really excited to give my all to this plant.

Thanks! I did come across his grows and i was Amazed with some of the buds. Simply tasty wow.
I did read alot that Autos are not forgiving. Im from Slovenia in Europe and i do understand most things i read but when it comes to products or things like with 3 words i have no idea what some of it means. LOL but im being positive since my love for the plant and respect is big im sure i will do the most i can.
I will find a succesful auto grow and follow those steps first.
Thank you again and damn would i wish to have a cookie right now. Didn't have a proper one for years.

Gotta say loving the connection from Slovenia.
Totally amazing we can help out a new grower across the globe.
I am interested in what types of soil and nutrition you have available. What type of growing style. Do you know of any local growers that can help?

You will do fine. You have a willingness to learn and you're in the right place.

Sadly I do not, cause its still Illegal in most places but Slovenians do tolerate in some way more then others.
Well thank god for the internet and i can order whatever is the best from all of EU and is qt my door step in 1 day.
So any sugesstions on what mix to use? Should i mix mine?
what you mean by growing style
Any sugestions would be amazing.

Although already said I can't stress enough. Overwatering and overfeeding. It you can avoid those two hurdles the race is on. Good luck.
I will keep it in mind. So any sugestions on when to water and how much of what and when to feed them to avoid any sgress to rhe plant?

You would need to tell us what medium you are going to use like soil or coco or hydro and what nutrition if soil organic or chemical fertilizer. Different grow styles use different water strategies.
Even launching a seed has choices. You can throw it into dirt in a small cup and up pot it as it gets bigger or start it on a paper towel and move it right into dirt in its forever home pot.

A wise choice would be to read some diaries and copy what looks like a good method that you can follow an already successful grow. A well tended diaries thread will show you just about everything you need.

I did plan on soil, chemical.fertilizer and ill start the seed in the paper towel. Did those when i was younger and always sprouted.
Hope to find a grow that fits.

Ok the begining.
Set up your tents and lights and pots and get your tent going. Water your pot with no nutrients and allow to dry for a cycle. With lights on high and temps about 80 and low humidity this should take about 5 days to dry back if you slowly watered with one liter of water.
We are making sure you did not buy a bag of gnants.
Gnants can kill new plants and the treatment when young kills plants also.
It's like setting up an aquarium. You want it to be running when you put the fish in not adding chemicals to balance pH and such.

You are not flushing the soil. If you are doing autos I would recommend 3 gallon fabric pots. You will not get any runoff until you approach 2 plus liters of water.
Doing chemical ferts you will need to be able to check and adjust the fertilizer based on testing with an EC/PPM tool. You will also need to check pH to stay on top of problems.
Chemical ferts are more involved and can really ramp up growth but is subject to over shooting and damaging the grow.

So would organic fertilzer be a better choice for my first grow? Untill i get the better out of it. I don't mind a big yield for now. I want to get good quality bud. If i get 80-100g with 3 plants im more then happy for my first time.

It's a style choice. I run organics and can have problems getting the add for nutrients correct.
Organics take a while to become effective. They are not chemicals they are former living stuff that has the nutrients a plant needs. It takes from 7 to 10 days for an add into a organic grow to start to work. You will need to lay out a plan or follow a feed chart that has you amending the soil and adding nutrients on a schedule.
It took me 2 runs of my autos to get the add right and then I changed nutes and had to start all over.
Chemical nutrients are very quick and can over swing but I like an organic grow you can reset the soil by properly flushing the soil if you add to much nutrition. There are a few chemical nutrient lines that actually have a maintainence flush every 4 or so weeks and definitely going into flower.
But folks can overuse the flush. Every time you flush your wash PH buffers out of the soil. Pretty soon they can start to swing and give problems.

Just study up on organic soil vers chemical soil and decide what looks doable.
