Legalization is not about medical access to cannabis for those who need it, nor is it about embracing libertarian notions of consenting adults doing what they please. And it's damn sure not about giving folks an avenue toward self-reliance or some control over their income.
It's all about getting growers and smokers to pay into a tax scheme for their cannabis use- just another tax on your daily activities.
Years back I read all the anti canna people saying prop215 in CA was just the first step toward full legalization. I didn't want to believe that, but it seemed pretty damn clear to me that that was the agenda here in CO.
When more laws developed to protect the rights of mass producers, distributors and retailers, while simultaneously overlooking the reality of patients rights and needs, I could see that "medical access" was just a marketing tool.
So many call for legalization not realizing that it goes out of our hands when it's legalized, and into the realm of big business. Most cannabis users are too idealistic to recognize that legalization isn't the answer they have always conceived it to be.
When I was about 25 my grandfather gave me a few firearms, just old revolvers. Collectors pieces as opposed to weapons per se. I asked him if I was supposed to register them and he said "only if you want the government to own it".

Reclassifying it would be horrible. That would require a whole book to be written with cannabis as schedule 2 or whatever. The argument about not doing research is just holding seziure kids hostage. If they declassify it, the research can be done with ease... but the government would lose control of the cash cow. Citizens cannot legally produce a schedule 2 "drug" in their own homes. Therefore, reclassification is a backdoor to kill the legalizations already in place.
It is really as simple as that.

That is absolutely mental electric bill on my possibly 8k grow is in the 5-600 dollar range plus a one gallon jug of my mills start or c4 are $350 ea and my A+B from them let's not even get into that BS can't get black label any longer they were denied oregon licensing due to labeling issues H&G is just as bad if not worse than as we all know the maintenance costs new bulbs, old fan went out freaking portable ac dies on you out of no where the dam squirrel cage inside the fan blew to bits one evening and then gotta get a new scrubber occasionally this runs around 200-300 a month without things like Ac and scrubbers then it's closer to $1500 there goes one of my two or so lb a month rite there and guess what guys sadly I now cannot afford to pay my $1900 mortgage payment! Not sure if i should have reiterated in some way while I was in there that they a fucking the whole operating system up for the rest of us cuz now my peeps gonna want $80 oz saying well shit i can go get it from the dispensaries for $100 or 5 a g all day.... My producer was 100$ an oz and at times great top shelf others B . My monthly cost of meds go to my garden. Im just meds and I know it must suck man .hope it gets better. I think green houses are having impact also my gut is a green house listened producer. I'd have to disagree with that. It's pricier to grow hydro than it would be "full term soil". Between equipment, lights, nutrients, etc... not even close.
Outdoor Farmer Brown style would kill anything. Buy lime and rock phosphate by the ton from Ag supply. I heard a while back there was an estimated 30,000 POUNDS in Washington waiting on laws/politicians. I wouldn't be surprised if that $100./oz is some of that stockpile. Somebody already mentioned it but the first thing I'd do is go get me one of $100./oz's and try it out. If its top shelf put the equipment on Craigslist ASAP, if it's lower/mid grade then you just gotta up your game.
IMO, all that being said you should be in the black even at those prices IF your game is tight.

Hydro is far more expensive than soil especially if ur using the sun as a grow light. Don't need much for out door. However the 1 saving grace imo is no way it's Connie grade weed. That's what I'm producing. Even black market dudes will pay and extra hundo for primo shit. I'm already moving zips at 200. Dosent mean I'm ok with that kind of comp but just saying. If u have the fire they will come. Much respect and good vibes to all of u.

That was in reference to indoor and time factor as time cost in electricity and what not , but obviously outdoors cuts you overheads right down . not being fully up to hydro ill con-seed to your greater knowledge of cost involved .cheers ,respect.
Bringing it to an economic cost though whats the allowance for labour as to make a true profit you have to account for your costs and what you could be earning for your labor else where so if say instead of putting time into growing if you were say driving a cab that pays you $17.50 an hr (just an example ) then you need to pay your costs plus earn above the rate you could be earning elsewhere to make a real profit . Plus you need to calculate your investment in capital equip like lights tents equip ect so as to calculate what the money investeded could be earning elsewhere . so if if you had 10k invested in equip you need to calculate in what it could be earning say in a bank account getting interest . Now if your still in front once all that is taking into account your business is solid . cheers
Yes I understand all that but did you read my original post I have very expensive food stuffs for my lady's that run about $700 every full harvest or very 18 plants out. then I have my upkeep my electric bill my $1900 mortgage cable phnes insurance fuck me man the list just never quits.... He'll no i won't be Ballin I won't even break even i get 250z all day have a guy who gets a qp every week or so however he moved to CO for work and there is no dispensaries in my area closest one is some 59mi away and I don't have a lic by choice I'll explain at the end of this why. As for green houses my area does not allow them or at least the cover you must use blocks a ton of light it's like black or white can't use other colors it's like extra thick window screen. Maybe possibly with a com lic you can but I'm med not com/rec so does not apply to me as we have a ton of city specific rules (i love drugs and alcohol too much to be behind a wheel) I grew up in Vegas Casinos, on the strip, in the ghetto and it's just commonly accepted by everyone to drive no matter how fucked up you are and no matter what you have been on that day now I am stuck in this habit about four years ago I had me my best friend and his 16yo little brother we just went to get sum buds I was super Blowed out on coke only God knows how drunk cuz I was to high to feel it. All of a sudden some fuck head jumps a 4 way rite as we are crossing at 55mph and due to my inebriated state I mad an over reaction and there is a large ditch on each side of the road so needless to say we wonder up on our lid after rolling four time's the only one without major injuries was the 16yo so someone was watching my ass and his that day and I have not got behind the wheel since then my wife drives me around a little bit but she is scared to drive on the freeways or highway since she never has drove above 35mph in her life she refuses to take me anywhere that requires her to get on one...I set run a perpetual bloom tent.
