Don't get me wrong, JJ and the likes gear is definitely fire. My Tres Sister cut was in my top 5 fav smokes easily, although the Chemdog's Sister cut holds a special place in my heart, but it's hard for me to put up $200 for a pack of anything when I know of breeders that have strains that are easily on par for less than half the price. I'm gonna get some Franchise that's only $110 but for me to drop $200+ on a pack of beans would have to be something truly special, because I know if I paid that price and didn't find something truly stellar I'd be a little heated.

I'm not saying I wouldn't pay that price, I would 100% do so, because to be honest I find that seeds are crazy cheap given the fact that you make that back if you get a single keeper, and do so that first round. But fortunately for us that's not the standard, so me spending that will be for a few strains I otherwise can't live without.

That right there is why the first packs I bought were from Gypsy Nirvana. I know they weren't true bred genetics, but to drop $200 on a pack of seeds just seems asinine to me, especially if you don't find something decent in that pack that you want to hold on to. Not saying today's breeders don't provide excellent products but even now I'm hesitant to buy anything because there's no telling if they're going to be worth it in the end.

I'm in a very fortunate spot, with a few friends that spread the love they get from their friends, and I really never have to or need to buy seeds again, but I do because I respect the guys I buy from and I want to suppor their endeavors. When I copped my topdawg packs I was expecting a much higher price, but JJ only charged me $100. In contrast, I snickered when offered the $180 "friend price" for swamp boys gear at the cup, felt like I was being jarked.

Motarebel's $60 packs are just as valuable as any breeders' $200 packs IMO.

I try not to compare breeders and pricing. In my opinion charging $200 per pack is just another form of marketing, when reputable cats charge that much you want to believe it's worth it, and that is the marketing ploy right there. Like renaming your flagship strain and marketing it as a new product just because it was grown hydroponically- or renaming a strain you stole so you don't get your ass kicked when you start a company behind it- tricks of marketing. All's fair in love and marketing until you don't like when others do the same thing you did.

In my opinion, If you want the best seeds around before anyone else has them, you need one or both of the following: 1) have friends who breed cannabis seeds, and/or, 2) step your game up as a grower and breeders will give you seeds all day because a great grower growing them is good publicity. Failing that, or being a seed maker yourself, you'll have to pay retail or wait 5 years for the best cuts to circulate.

Don't misunderstand what I'm saying. Have zero issue with jj as a man and anyone can put drops out as they please. I'm not speaking to his character bro. He is def a stand up guy. However I think his personality can come off as abrasive. Maybe I could have substituted my adjectives lol. In essence I couldn't agree with u more. I have found my personal dealings with him somewhat unpleasant. But never would portray him as anything but a solid dude.

Funny ur last paragraph is something that should be a sticky. People often say myself and power og are lucky for the genetics we have acquired. We aren't. It's first and foremost about u as a grower. People can tell if u have a true love for the plant. Second u have to show people u are genuinely interested in getting to know them as people before asking or expecting to get genetics. Not one person has ever given me anything nor have I ever asked untill there was a relationship. I'd use networking as a word but that almost sounds like hunting. I've been very lucky in the relationships I've cultivated and without the friends I've been lucky enough to make I'd be nowhere.

First legit salts I'll be using aside from the watered down Canna A/B which is obviously already a liquid solution. Thanks for any input on using this product. I mix in one gallon jugs and simp;y don't have anything with the volume needed to make 5 gallons in one run. Also don't want the extra 3 gallons sitting around essentially being wasted.

It's 1 tsp per five gallons bro. It's def awesome. Stuff. If used correctly u will see amazing results. But be careful. Too much and u will fry ur girls. When I've used it I've used it once a week for three weeks. I give it alone or with fulpower and that's it. U know what ur doing and I'm sure u will see awesome results just go easy brother.

Hey bro you're as entitled to your perceptions as the next man, and really there is no arguing personal experience. And yes I'd agree that abrasive is an accurate descriptor. Must be the Jersey in him, Jersey speaks through even the most soft spoken hahaha.

I got kinda like what that looks like . And @SeaF0ur gave the answer to my thoughts. Ty I thought it was salt build up . But then I bet there's sulfur in my water from the smell of it anyway. lol

@Junk it's a bloom booster (Mother Of All Blooms) with an npk of 0-52-32. Straight salt, smells kinda funny, looks like an illegal crystal substance lol. According to the labeling it is derived from Mono-Potassium Phosphate and Mono-Amonium Phosphate. Also contains Vitamin B1 (Thiamine Hydrochloride).

Applied it for the first time today, .5 gram to 1 gallon water to avoid frying my ladies. Will probably reapply next week at a bit higher level, depending how they respond by tomorrow.

Also a cool ass town about 3 hours south of SLC, has the arches national park just a couple miles outside of it.

everything @27 days. Delaying their N- as much as I can:/ This first run back indoors is proving tough. Hard to keep on it when it's not at my own place and I can't see them every day. I still kick myself for not transplanting a couple weeks before flower, if I had I wouldn't be having these issues.

Mother of all blooms. A bloom boost that is extremely powerful. But used correctly very effective. It's an overpriced salt nutrient. Someone with more knowledge than myself can answer but I believe it's just mkp. Or something like that. Used it a bunch and its night and day but one must be careful a little to much and its burn city.

Also, there is a recipe floating around here that cap posted on a few threads to make your own. He talks about the comparison of it to mkp, it's real close but not quite the same. Either way I came across the recipe when reading up on proper usage of it. Seems most use it in conjunction with another pk booster. I will be using it as my pk booster because I'm broke and not needing to buy a ton of additives.

Everyone's buds are looking great. Can't wait to find me a couple ladies and get it poppin. So many strains going I'm pumped. Getting solid germ rates so not I use need to do what I do. Soon enough I'll be back to over flow status. Respect fellas.

Genetics are sort of the "impossible dream" around here I suppose. The urban legends here basically say "you can't get beans". went a lot of years without access to that, but have been tryin to remedy things the last couple of years. Last April helped a bunch!

@tobh fwiw, 0.5g per gallon of MOAB will add 30ppm of P and 35ppm of K.

Also, I'm pretty close to trying out something new and thought you guys could help me pick. First, with the breeder to make it easier.
Which breeder should I try out something from next?
Archive, Bodhi, BOG, Cali Conn., Connoisseur gen., DNA Gen, Exotic Gen., Gage Green, Mr. Nice, OG Raskal, Sin City, Top Dawg
(few others I don't think would get picked :p)
