I wonder if it will work with my galaxy grow amp ballast??

Wouldnt this be a better then good bulb bc of the full spectrum? and you could use it for veg and flower

I didn't ask for a sample since they are so small. they only do personal sales. no marketing or website or stores that carry...so after talking about their line up with dude and really liking what he had to say and also liking what the company stands for i asked to get their whole line up...not sure if i got a friendly price or what but it was super afforadable...like half the price of the DEM lineup...

Nevermind...that dual arc is only for magnetic ballast even thou Amazon says otherwise...hortilux website says to only use with magnetic core and coil ballast only!!

Still the Blue MH 1000k bulb kick butt...the msrp on their website for the 1k is $250

I only use magnetic core ballasts... you can fix em and worst case, you can recycle them and get some cash back...
the newer ones just end up as trash

yeah... you gotta get used to the sound of em... but I'm just talkin bout being able to crack em open and solder in new caps or ignition... and when all else fails you can pull the copper core to take in to the metal yard... open up a dead new one and you're likely to either not find anything wrong, or a blowout on the pcb... either way, once they decide they've quit, you've got nothing to save... thats why I like the old solid state ballasts... I'm not scared of a soldering iron.

Me too. Used to use digis and no issue but the old mags are so reliable.

No rf emitting either. I tried a remote digital ballast 12k run years back. Had rf spitting down the block. No thanks rather be safe than squeeze out an extra half Oz per light

Just for the record bro the digis bang man. I never had a bad go with one. No rf interference or anything. Just great bud. But it's the life of a mag ballast that I love. And of course the reliability. Dude downstairs grows nft. Been doing it since the weed looked like @SeaF0ur post the other day. No bullshit he got a mag ballast. The body rusted off like an 80s Toyota and he still gets insane results. He's a retard though. Been using the same bulb for over a year and a half. But that rust old ballast is still putting out the lumens. No digi can last like that.

I mean don't get me wrong, I'm not in a friendly place. There are people who dig digis. Mags can run hot in comparison to newer digis. And I plan on getting DE later which are digital. But mags are cheaper starting out value wise, never want to invest into a shit digital. Plus I kicks it oldschool

Word up nucca. Lol. Bonked off some amended soil skywalker. Holy shit. Next level no bullshit. Didn't yield nothing but it wasn't supposed to. Sorry babbling. I'm going 315 cmh eventually. After this run or the next.

I use lumatek digi and the extra light is noticeable . Don't notice any rf maybe cause I'm using gavita digi enhanced bulbs . These bulbs r also meant last longer . So for $250 I got either 600 w 400 w or 250 w . No noise less heat better out put more stable bulb . Just a no brainer for me . Side note when I use 250 w I do change bulbs cause I don't like the idea of dimming a 600 w to 250 . Just me .

Respect that view to the fullest and a very good endorsement. But the new mags really don't make noise like the older ones. The fan on my digital was louder than the hum of my mag. I would have to run a 1k digital to say if I saw a difference in light output. My digital was the same as u describe. But my mag is a 1k so it obviously blows my 600 away. Fosters Australian for beer! I'm hi bro and I'm laughing so hard at that. Respect bro.
