need to check the Part number on the bulb itself But I lucked out and scored the same ones that Coir uses in his garden.
its all about the bulb I would do a bit of homework on it. But the 400HPS ballast will work for the bulb I use.

Yo so HTGsupply has a 400CMH lamp and ballast set with an open air style reflector for like $180..Am I crazy or does something seem too good to be true?
Not to good to be true. It's the same bulb that flying j is using. Not as good of a spectrum as a 315 but better than a regular metal halide. If it's something that interests u u only need to buy the bulb. A 400 watt magnetic ballast will fire it.

The struggle is so real right now waiting for my girls to finish. Would normally never be without a couple ozs but completely dry now for over a month. The nerves are easily irritable and I find myself super frustrated about the dumbest thing and can't calm myself down. Can hardly afford to buy from these clowns my age selling/middle manning this mediocre bud for a dumb price. Need to meet locals on the farm and get my hands on some real tree for these times of desperation lol

So is anybody using or familiar with this B-Wave Technology? If I am correct it emits some sort of sub sonic noise/wavelength that opens the plants stomatas and makes them grow better/faster...IDK sounds like it could be cool but prolly really expensive.....just curious

Oh also I found this to be pretty interesting...
If you go to that site and read about half way down when they go into their AACT recipe it says NEVER USE BLACKSTRAP MOLASSES!! Now I personally use a cpl tablespoons when brewing teas but am excited to try some Progressive Farms Earth Syrup I got on the way...but i digress....It goes on to say that simple sugars/carbs like that found in molasses is like junkfood for the bennies and really most people end up brewing anaerobic teas most of the time bc the bacteria takes over and nothing else lives...Again this is all coming from them but I feel like im curious what yous guys opinions/experiences are with this...

Are you telling me i could run this 315 ceramic metal halide bulb on my 400w hps ballast? Even if its not a switchable ballast? Cause if i can, id like to try POWER's methods of switching it out for the HPS during first two weeks of flower and tighten up my node spacing.

Truthfully, this is why i bought a 400w in the first place instead of the 600w hps and hardcore ballast. Cause theres no 600w MH and i wanted to switch it out. However i didnt do my homework and didnt get a conversion Ballast. found out you had to get a conversion bulb to make it work, is this what theyre speaking of? The 315cmh as a conversion bulb? Or does it simply just work? I dont want to burn my house down trying to figure this out lol

If so this might be taking place during my next crop. Which is coming up in like two weeks!!-ish

Is the 315cmh enough light on its own to do the first two weeks of flower under? Or is it simply supplemental light to do on the side of what your already using?

Thru a bunch of research all ive gathered from compost teas is that u get microbes nothing more unless you add shit like kelp etc. why do all that brewing n shit when u can just get a powdered or liquid microbial innoculant like orca or photo plus or the slept on foxfarm root drench liquid thats more diverse that any of those. I could be wrong about compost teas but from everything ive gathered thats my conclusion.

I just started using a 600w MH for veg intend of my hps. This will be my first time ever using a MH. I'm excited, hoping it gives me shorter node spacing. So what I'm gathwring is that some of you guys are using MH or CMH the first two weeks of flower to shorten node distance? I'm definitely trying this on stuff that stretches a good bit. Would definitely help keep things more even in my tent and not over grow the damn thing. Soon I will be picking up a 4x4 gorilla so I will have more height. Ordering a few packs from the seedvault next week for my next round. Hopefully I find a good keeper out of this pack of 501st og I just popped. Going to find things to clone and just keep a small mother or two around at all times even when I'm not wanting to grow at the time. If I can just keep them alive and healthy I'll have plants to clone from and not have to worry about seeds. Picking up a small t5 strip a clone chamber/mother room then it's on.

I know I and others

youre correct as I'm sure you can buy the highest grade of anything through today's society, as in buying a tent compared to building your own box...it's more or less the do it yourself part that a lot of people make their own. It's cheap, and works.

@Pimp T I actually think that with adequate aeration AACT is much more concentrated with useful bacteria, fungi, and microbes than those packets of mykos and talc. I can't imagine that the bottled microbe concentrates are more alive than a fresh actively aerated home brew either because they have to be preserved for a longer shelf life- I don't think thats beneficial. When I add teas I usually see a positive reaction in the plants within 12 hrs. Conversely, I've never used a microbe product and witnessed as much of a tangible increase in vigor. I have no data sheets to support this, but I know I see the difference in my plants with my grow methods.

I agree with you and some of what PIMP said. I belive that done right you can deff achive a higher bennie count with an AACT but at the same time im not adverse to adding some of Caps bennies in my tea...As one of the matras of this thread is "whatever works for you" I think it comes down to what you feel comfertable with and what you feel like is the best value for you is.....Love hearing everyones thoughts doe

Farmers, I have struggled for a few minutes with this situation. I came to the place that since this thread is about whatever, I have opted to air it here. This way more folks will get exposure to this topic as @Tnelz has 1 of the baddest threads on this board. Little brown nosing for ya Tnelz

I am struggling to keep in my life long philosophy not to call out names as this touches on snitching. I will say what I have to say without naming names. You know who you are,,, hint hint ........and please dont contact me anymore with bullshit requests. Number one it is against the TOS of this site. # 2 you ran some names down to me and I did some checking, based on my feedback I got to tell you, that you are full of shit. Again you know who you are.

Keep this behavior up and I will see about getting you banned. Dont ever lie to me again BTW. Get to know people and become friends before you come with your sidewayz angles to get what you want. I hate being lied to or manipulated!!!!!

Not very cool amigo......... No more PM's unless it is to apologize for attempting to scam me. Peace

PS my apologies @Tnelz if this wasnt the best way to handle this. Much love brother

@cbddemon i definetely agree that quality of microbes and count is way better with aact. I really was getting at compost teas are pretty much only for microbes. But I can say thru all my different tea testings that I've seen better results root health thickness and root quality using bio ag vam and photosynthesis plus than i have with compost teas

was he trying to get shit from u by naming bullshit he didn't have? @jumpincactus
