Oh also I found this to be pretty interesting...
If you go to that site and read about half way down when they go into their AACT recipe it says NEVER USE BLACKSTRAP MOLASSES!! Now I personally use a cpl tablespoons when brewing teas but am excited to try some Progressive Farms Earth Syrup I got on the way...but i digress....It goes on to say that simple sugars/carbs like that found in molasses is like junkfood for the bennies and really most people end up brewing anaerobic teas most of the time bc the bacteria takes over and nothing else lives...Again this is all coming from them but I feel like im curious what yous guys opinions/experiences are with this...

I use organic agave nectar. see below.

Thru a bunch of research all ive gathered from compost teas is that u get microbes nothing more unless you add shit like kelp etc. why do all that brewing n shit when u can just get a powdered or liquid microbial innoculant like orca or photo plus or the slept on foxfarm root drench liquid thats more diverse that any of those. I could be wrong about compost teas but from everything ive gathered thats my conclusion.

You will never get AEROBIC organisms from a bottled product... only ANAEROBES.

I must point you to my friend Dr Tim Wilson. Some of you may know him as MicrobeMan. He is the end all be all in the field of microbial extrapolations (aerated compost teas). In fact he owns the patent on the cone bottom brewer. He's spent more time with his face to a microscope than anyone else I know.

Black strap molasses is knarly...
Try as Jerry Baker says try beer, and/ or liquor... Rum, Brandy... Let sit out for a few days to eliminate alcohol, and then feed 2 oz gal to feed sugars to plant... Like a shot to the arm...

@SeaF0ur Let me prefcae with I like and respect the farmer you are. I need help to clarify some information I have concerning organic agave nectar. If this info is legit it will be nice to get your input or anyone that can call BS on this article. I actually stopped using agave nectar as my thinking is if it isnt good for me it isnt good for my critters either.

I am open to all of your valued opinions. Here is the link. Please take a moment and get back to me if this is based on solid info. Thanks farmers http://www.foodrenegade.com/agave-nectar-good-or-bad/

On my other... I use stevia tea ,ad I normally do with my teas, brew with Mr. Coffee maker and make the most potent tea mix called ' hot water extraction, I got a Peru sea bird guanos extract 8 yrs old...super potent, all NPK There just add minerals... I'm now using golden tree to fortify... Long time veganic nute user to bring highest quality to users... See my past here...compared to Cervantes... We on same level...

I too heard this was bad awhile back. And recently on this forum, i heard that some folks supplement molasses with it and that its not good for your plant either.

This was an overall bummer cause i really liked to eat it with corn chex! (bomb)

I was told by the homie not to use either, and to supplement my sugars with aphrodites extraction by nftg. Which i did. However i still miss it on my corn chex.

Id love to hear this topic discussed into further detail as well

At the end of the day bacteria are like anything else that eats. Any sugar source will feed them but different sugar sources will appeal to different microbial populations. I use afrodities extraction primarily but still use molasses or agave nectar from time to time as well. I've also used the juice from sugar cane as well. Any will work. The difference imo is what else do they do. Molasses brings some npk value as well as Cal and mag. However to much of it isn't awesome for ur roots. Same can be said of agave nectar except it's an easier amino acid chain for ur microbes to break down. Also offers some npk and Cal and mag. It's a preference thing at the end of the day.

Drop your light some. They are reaching for it and leaning toward the center of the light. What is that unit? Looks like those LEDs are way to focused. Are there secondary optics in front of those emitters?

Pisses me off really, cause if the process to get the agave nectar is really using this chemical constituents then it really aint organic is it.

Would also like to say I read earlier someone said castings and compost make it so aact isn't needed. I personally don't believe it's ever actually needed however any time u add aact it's not for nothing. It will always add microbes and there is no such thing as too many microbes. The higher ur microbial populations the better ur plant will do period.

Lastly I'd like to say this personally. This thread is to get a bunch of passionate people in one place. Whatever genetic passing that goes on is totally cool but listen. New people please hang around for a good long time before asking for things. Most of us got where we are because we cultivated real relationships before ever even thinking of asking. I never asked for anything untill I had prime genetics to offer first. It's just protocol ya know. And I want to be very clear. Power and I don't share flowers. Not one time ever. So please never ever contact me or anyone and ask for flowers. It's just wrong and a sure fire way to get ur self looked at negatively. And please even if we know each other don't assume I'd cosign anything for u. Not cuz I don't think ur ok or anything but I don't vouch for anyone past "he seems ok" unless I've done a transaction of some sort that included u. I'm not talking specific here just making myself clear. I got love for everyone and everyone knows I share when I can but listen when people try and give u clues on how to act. Respect and good vibes y'all!
