Ha.... I spent almost 15 years on the run from the law before I had kids and had to clear that old shit up... My personal best is 28 days awake. I was extremely chemically enhanced at the time... be somewhere safe when you crash from that shit.... recovery is not immediate and a coma can be quite confusing.
CO is chill as far as I've seen thus far. People are chill, genetics are up there with cali selection Scenery is amazing and here you can legally grow with no papers whatsoever provided you do 6 plants, 1 plant per 2Kw in a 5' x 8' scrog screen each... 100 gal pot i think and I believe 4 month veg.... I believe thats what a cat i know is doin. exact numbers and dimensions might be slightly off, but you can stack major pounds legal and without a piece of paper if done right.... Cali has a shit ton of taxes... but it seems we are tryin to catch up a bit there recently... I love it here but I like the seasons and landscape. We got everything from desert > grassland > forest > mountain and all in between... bout a shitty time to hitchhike anywhere really though... hoppin trains might be better if your fast on your feet, but when it slows down a bunch, jump off before the railyards... dont wanna get caught in em. keep water and peanut butter... mega calories... It aint easy... but it aint hard if you can get OK with being uncomfortable and cold. plan for cold well. I wouldnt carry your favorite pipe or shit... roll foil when you need to. expect to be fucked with and searched... normal folks dont carry luggage and you will stick out.

You know... I'm gonna go back a sec and speak further about something mentioned earlier... I did not see anything elsewhere by the way, and the reason is that this is really the only thread here I follow... I come from the organics world... even worse, I'm one of the permaculture focused, recycled soil, no bottles types... and in that space I found a few cool people, but a lot of holier than thou, elitist douchy attitudes, cultlike followings and product usages and a lot of condescension to anyone who either asked a question in pursuit of knowledge or who disagreed with the entire method or even one of those exalted products... (like tibetan purple barley? just why? why something so specific for something so arbitrary?) I digress... point is, I dont want to be a part of that garbage. And as a further point of fact I spoke to Tnelz at one point about how I probably wasnt gonna be on the farm very much... but as he said to me, this thread has a life of its own... I'll always spout off organic crap in response to questions and I have no input on chems generally as I have little personal experience in practice using them, but the very fact that opposing styles can coexist without anyone looking down their collective noses too often and the willingness to share and assist one another is honestly one of the things that keeps me personally in this thread and its the only one I check with any regularity. occasionally I get bored and find an unanswered question to chime in on, but in reality, this thread is the primary anchor tethering me into logging into this forum....

Hey man, all I gotta say is when you get a ton of people flooding in, you get huge gaps in the market. I went to Colorado and the service in the shops is horrendous. Out of 4 places only 1 was decent.

And the quality truly is NOT what it could be.

Keep those things in mind. Keep money off the top of your mind.
Keep your business on your mind. Keep your reputation on your mind. Keep ethics in mind.

Shit man just make the atmosphere cool! These places are 100% business and honestly it sucks...

If you have good business sense and a way to start something up, it is truly possible. There is always room for quality and care, especially with herb.

I 150% agree with everything you said here from preparing or the cold very well & DEFF carring PB to prolly riding the rails bc of the time of year...thats why i suggested it...lol....I am trying to move completely away from bottled nuted and i think i am doing pretty well considering this cycle the only things bottled i am using is Ful-Power and Osa28...oh and Massive during bloom...But about the thread, you couldn't be anymore right. I tried other forums and threads and i always see this people with their noses stuck so high in the air it turns me off completely!! Fuck that shit! Literaly my computer is on most of the day and this tab is ALWAYS open, i really only am off of it when i shut down my computer once weekly to let it rest for half day....I LOVE CO! But I a lil feel like Skunked that EVERYBODY is moving there just to move there and I need a place to feel like home! Not say CO wont when I go do some test runs but who knows. Portland for some reason seems to be REALLY calling my name but like I said who knows, maybe I will get there and be like NOPE this place deff does not feel like home....Any just thought id chime in...


On a diff note....Man when people talked about how finiky cookie strains were i took it with a grain of salt. But man oh man you can so tell that it is the only strain im growing right now that is a premadonna!! I run my lights for 18/6 and run them at night and they are off from 10am to 4pm. when i open my tent at 9-930 after light have been on all night and im getting ready to foliar, ONLY the Nightmare Cookies im growing and specifically one that is showing the most sattie leaning qualites looks so distressed! After ligts off for 6hrs she seems happy again and also happy after every feeding/watering but i do see the slightest yellow on her tips and like i said in the mornings she looks all sad with all her leaves drooping except the new growth which sticks straight up making the plant look all sorts of weird and sad...lol...Anyway Ill post some pics later today after lights come back on. Today I am going to start brewing their first tea and I think they are going to be VERY happy with the influx of microbes! Make them roots happy happy!! And not that anyone asked but todays foliar includes osa28,aloe,sea90,kelp and a touch of dish soap to make everything apply really nice!!!

The thing about Colorado is when you're out in the mountains.....you don't see a surge of people.

I had such an awesome time in Colorado...if anybody wants any trip ideas or while you're out there ideas:

Rocky Mountain National Park enter from Estes park....amazingly beautiful place. I hiked bierstadt lake....was really awesome.

Crystal Mill hike from Marble....really long 6 miles and steep uphill for a decent amount of that. Didn't think I could do it....but then the acid kicked in...But honestly I've never seen anything like the scenery on that hike

Mesa Verde.....so fucking cool there. I saw the cliff dwelling you can view without a tour. Then did the car loop around there. Was some stops overlooking canyons and shit. Just wow.

So I snagged a cpl of pics right as I was about to foliar. What your seeing is how 2 of the 3 ncookies are a lil droopy and even a lil yellow All the buckeye crosses look nice and happy and the kush octane cross looks decent. This is all right before lights off, when the lights come on I'll take some more pics bc they all look so diff and so much happier after the 6hr dark time. I also think the tea tmrw will give em a needed boost...

I let my veg plants get a lil rootbound before my pots came in....transplanted a few days ago and they are starting to perk up now!

I agree. I had a buddy hop trains from cali to seattle, then to new york on a nationwide squatting and skating trip. Road trips are my favorite. Long as you got a homie who will endure it with you @Skunked it will always be a good adventure. Stay safe, stay smart. Have fun. Smoke mad weed. If you make it to southern cali by the coast hmu. Ill bring you guys a warm meal and a fat joint. Its gonna be cold sailor, bring a blanket : )

The Big Island still rocks for sticking out your thumb other than that yeah, don't look too unkept or too clean. Most people don't want a pair stinky hitchhikers and their gear and in many cases their dogs seeping into their car interior (I found having a sign that said "will ride in back" to flash at pick-ups helped), and if your too clean, well then you're obviously a murdering psychopath. Trains are AMAZING but these days your most likely options are some slow junk train or a bottomless container car (scary, scary shit they don't call it riding suicide for no reason)

I'm not sure, but I take it on good word 90% of bulbs are now manufactured at the same places. I just buy cheap ones and run em for 2 cycles before recycling them... I'm not worried about longevity I've had hortiluxes crap out on me past 1 run. Qc overall seems down

Afaik Phillips may be one of the few to not produce their horticulture lights in China. So any Phillips/gavitas and I think you'll be OK spending extra coin. Sorry I don't pay too much attention to brand. I just pick up anything under 25-30 a bulb. Just check em before you purchase to make sure it won't blow up on ya lol. I think the last round was Apollo and before that was ultra sun by sunlight supply. Plant max never heard of but slyvania should be alright, they're in other industries for lighting and I've never heard really anything bad
