lol...i messed up, i meant to ask if i could use that socket cord to run from the ballast to the cmh lamp...And to answer why, i guess i am just exploring options and ways to beef up the lighting in my 5x5. I have a 1k hps in there but now that i will have a seperate 4x4 veg area with its own lighting i was thinking of maybe adding some light to my 5x5 or if its the right move, switch up the lighting. I have thought about running that 2k hood so that i would have a 1k hps and a 1k mh going on and i like that idea but it one of the more expensive...I also though about running to 2 400w vertical regular mh lamps next to the 1k hps hood for added spectrum....Im just trying to figure out what would be best for me...315 and 400 are different things. You need a ballast that will fire the bulb. Htg has the 400 for 179 but it ain't a 315 brother. Different things. And yes you should have questions. Who could possibly have all the answers. No you couldn't use that ballast.
Thank you man.@jumpincactus no chem4xtresdawg
@Tnelz where are you sourcing your Full Season from? What are the prices and shipping costs? or are you sourcing locally without having to have shipped? Peace and much love from a retired east coaster.Don't want to mix it bro. 8oz top dress a 5 gallon. Proof is in the pics bro. Stuff works as good as any amended soil I've seen. I will be using it on plants I've run before but I believe in it. Key is top dress don't mix. No reason to amend man. I used roots original soil in a five gallon square. Got six really nice colas and a bunch of bugs. I'd say somewhere around 3.5 to 5 zips easy. Everything is dense and frosty. Go for it. The thing is ease of use. No reason to make it any harder that you have to.
That was the plan...i shortly was thinking of getting the sun supply cmh 4200k for veg but i think ill get better then average results using the mars led, plus its financially better for me...Im deciding between the mars reflector 960w or the mars 2 1200....the mars 2 is 100$ more and i thought it was better bc it had the 5watt diodes but now i know the reflector series also has 5 watt diodes so now im not sure if i should spend the xtra 100$ on the mars 2......Any suggestions? You best bet for your veg tent would be led. A mars unit would be perfect better stronger veg growth than t5 @Lazerus00
It smells just like the diesel but with less pine and more cream overtones...cant really smell lemon too much or taste any hints of lemon just barely afterwards... Its like a sweeter and creamer sd its weird because its just like the diesel but kind of more enjoyable because its so sweet and creamyLooks really nice man. Def not west coast sour diesel though. But I'd be interested in growing her none the less. What are the smells coming off her?
I just put some bubble on the this sd...super creamy pine taste very very slight lemon after taste... On this crop i went crazy heavy on azomite i used it(chunky azomite) as a buffer between the lava rocks instead of perlite on the bottom of the buckets plus i amendend the soil with it(particulised) and added it twice via a top dressing mix with cali hummus and sonoma valley worm farm vermicompost through out its three / four month life.It smells just like the diesel but with less pine and more cream overtones...cant really smell lemon too much or taste any hints of lemon just barely afterwards... This was dec 2 or third....we had for the most part a very successful year with minimal weather hang ups except for the fucking Wind but overcame that...All in 5 gallon pots

No not local. I'm in mass and I bought from monster gardens. I think it's 31 dollars plus maybe 5 for shipping.@Tnelz where are you sourcing your Full Season from? Agree led is the way to go there. Only thing I'd suggest is grab the 600 watt Apollo. Under 200 and it kills.

I asked the guy at my local shop about sourcing mykos and beneficial bacteria cheaper, he showed me this. Said you only need 1 ml per gallon
Its liquid. Anyone know if this stuff is any good
Why not LEC?You best bet for your veg tent would be led. A mars unit would be perfect better stronger veg growth than t5 @Lazerus00
