When you get to grow your own stuff, it comes down to personal preference. If I could get 100% milky I'd take it then.

If you are dealing with unfortunate genetics, it usually comes down to deciding how many clear vs amber.

But I've noticed my favorite stuff is often almost completely cloudy. So long as you are in the two week window, I honestly don't notice much of a difference. I think because I consume large quantities. It's easy to describe a sip of wine, it's hard to describe how a certain wine's drunk feels.

Or is it how a feel's how certain wine's drunks?:smoking:

Yeah but he is thunderlips there from rocky III lol so I pulled the one in the first pic, smallest one, and hanging it in the closet. do I need to block this light out more? will the kroger bag around the roots cause any issues? or should I cut it off and tie it up by the roots?

just ph balanced water and wait til dry a couple times within the last two weeks. just watered em up til they were soaked and water in the tray. it's such a short flowering time that 2 weeks is almost a quarter of my flowering time, if not a 1/3. so with soil that takes 4 or 5 maybe 6 days to be ready to water I can't many feeds and stuff.

edit. it's hard to really fuck her up too. I had some imbalances in my soil run. she would take a little bit of damage in the leaves and it didn't seem like too much stress. I harvested the mom at 9 weeks and she was still green with a week of flush (dwc) she was ready sooner than expected. didn't have microscope, unknown plant genetics. I'm getting the feel for her though.

Man I am just chock full of questions today!! I got another one fir ya....

When dealing with pregnant buds (full of seeds) What is the standard method for the dry/ seed removal phase?? Meaning when I cut down the plants I will hang them upside down to dry...Do I wait until the buds are completely dry just as I normally would? Then just remove the seed while I am dry trimming?? Or is there another method/way of doing t his that is better??

Its a pain in the ass no matter what...
I let em hang and I smoke my seeded first, picking through em as I go...
dont try to pick em wet... you can crush em... gotta let em dry and harden up.
dry em real well... seriously...

It is my contention that seed which were not dried thoroughly enough are the seed that go bad once wrapped in plastic and simply dont germinate.... I've had germination issues on past things and I believe it to be due to sealing the seeds up too early, I've seen it also with SG's stuff... peoples seeds started ok at first, but anyone who didnt crack right away had no germination after a certain period... I believe a slightly too high of a level of moisture can damage the internal seed without changing its outward appearance.... giving seeds that look perfect but yet wont germinate... some in that circle act as if the seeds have a timer on them in which they "expire" after too long... nonsense... I've seen 40 year old seeds germinate.

there are 2 grades of DE.

one is safe to eat and farmers give it to cattle to deworm them.

the other you dont want to be breathing in....

Out of 600 diatomaceous earth deposits in the US, only 4 are "food grade"

do your homework before eating anything....

Agreed @Stumpy420 don't rush the final stages. How fast you dry. Where you dry. How much light the buds get. The temp and rh of where you dry can significantly change your end product. Do all the steps correctly and with patience and your end result will really show.

@drewski85 so sorry man meant to respond to yer message. Slipped my mind. Ill get on it now

I know. I got a mini fan to keep air moving. there is a towel between her and a veg light (vitalume 25w cfl). the light is the only thing I'm worried about. when she dries she dries right

Take the light away and keep air movement but not directed on the bud and keep it like that for 5 days and then u can steadily dry it a little quicker this method for me leaves it smooth as milk no hot harsh smoke just nice :)

If u let it drop below 65 it might be a high rh which will affect drying time and it doesn't sound like u want that and above 85 it will dry too quick before things have time to break down once that has happend there is no going back hope this helps :)

we usually keep the house around 72-75. normal winter house humidity. I want to put my new bitch in the flower room but she is so tall and canopied that she will block the other two I'm leaving in for another week or 2 from the light. since they are ripening and not growing would this make a huge difference?
