Going to be starting a bit of experimentation and reminiscing. I wanted to get that strong skunk smell again, so I'm sprouting some Pot of Gold. I have some S1's and also some Bx4's (took about 3 years to do). The beans are about 8 years old now.
The test will be to see which is closer to the original P1 I had; S1 or Bx4.

They are far enough for "first looks"; though I don't consider them officially germinated. (no real watering yet).
**Moisture content atm is appx. 35-40% of saturation.

I think its almost over now....i was going to get a cup going but then I got high and forgot all about it until you asked me just now....lol.....You like using those clear cups better?? I thought roots prefer the dark?

I tossed that tent because I saw a bug. I've tried to get back in touch with Soser about it....because I would really like to grow those plants. No exaggeration, THE smelliest plant I've ever seen. At least one of the phenos REEKED when it was 8" tall...absolutely reeked! Like you open the tent, your eyes started to water, & the smell punched you in the face. Pungent.

I never got to flower them, but I vegged them for a bit. They are worth growing asap brother. If you get that extra stinky plant, you will be amazed at how much smell one little plant can make. I tossed that tent & that plant couldn't have been more than 10" tall, & it STANK!!!

I would love to have those back. They were really, really good plants. But I can't get in touch with Soser anymore.

But if they flower like they veg, you should be dumping them in the ground asap. It's impressive dude. Of all the stuff I lost in that tent, those are the only two I wish I could have back.

Props to Soser, wherever you are. He made some stink bombs. He told me this, but I can verify it now based on the stink they put out as tiny plants....the final product is almost too hard to carry it smells so loud. You are gonna need smell proof bags, or one of those bud things from Botinacaire to carry it. Stinkiest plan I've ever had, & it never got more than 10" tall!

Just happened to be surfing the web and typed in alien Cush and it lead me here. I see none have made it to parchment yet...... im way behind sending some back out to laz but imma get on that this week. So if anyone else would like a pack hit me up on ig under the familiar soserthc1 moniker and I'd be happy to get some to you also. They are actually pretty nice plant that I'm still working with.

I think they do fine because the cup is green and absorbs all light except green, which plants don't absorb (hence why we see green leaves). or the roots don't give a F. 1 of the 2, haven't figured it out yet.

the seth Rogen run (small red cups) could have something amazing in them. all were found out of 50/hun buds.

the thc bomb seed swelled, split, and the tip came out. just the tip. Germ'd same time as uncle stony's and seth rogens. bad seed or paper towel a little too wet/moist? I went ahead and dropped it in a starter plug. if she comes out, she comes out, right?

does she look like she is ready for flower or should I top some of the scragglers?

SO FUCKING EXCITED!!! Placing the order today for all the sub panel equipment!! Having it shipped to the local Home Depot store so when I go pick it up I can also pick up a few 2x4s and a piece of ply wood to mount the box on my wall!! I have been watching so many videos and also reading all sorts of how to blogs and articles. I'm not gonna lie @BlackSheepOG I am most likely still going to need to take you up on your offer for a few key parts that i would feel comfortable with you watching over via Skype. Send me a pm or I will you so we can trade some info!! Finally getting close to having the room the way I want it....at least for now....lol...Wish me luck in not blowing anything up or not catching on fire...hahahahahaha

Thought I'd share, I harvested another NL and made a seriously strange note.

600w hps vs. 400w hps.

Easy judge on which is better right? Wrong. At the cup this year I was listening to DJ short talk about the sour HPS smell. How hps gives buds that sleight sour aroma or sometimes a big sour aroma to buds that don't normally smell like that.

Well, after running ghost OG and Northern lights under my 600 and under my 400 I've concluded this: 600w higher yield, airier buds, less tight, sour smells increase by a significant amount.

400w lower yield, higher quality, smells stay true, no sour ness to over power the golden sugar smell of the northern lighrs. my NL under 400w smells like a sugary dream, amazing quality, tightness. However, when running it dedicated under my 600w the quality was sub par, even though I yielded more. Don't get me wrong, they're amazing buds, sugar stacked. But the smell isn't quite how I like it, and the tightness isn't really there, AS MUCH they're tight buds.... just,the top buds on the 6 aren't as good as the top buds from my 4...

Conclusion, I'm gonna let buds stack under the 6. And finish under the 4. Bam, I said it, 600w hps isn't as good as my 400w hps. In the end, I'll take quantity over quality any day. I'm gonna run the NL strictly under 4 and one strictly under 6 this next round just to make further study on this concept. @MGRox @NaturalTherapy id like your guys 2 cents on this

Hey, in some of the vids I am watching the guys talk about having to install a second bus bar in the subpanel for the ground.....Does the box you picked out for me at HD come with that 2nd bus bar or do i need to get it?? @BlackSheepOG

It's got everything you need in the panel. Has the buss bar and all that in it.

There were a few diff. I'm gonna continue to experiment man. No dicketry detected. I want to hear what you guys have to say about this subject
