Finally got around to doing some metrics. Looks like I averaged a half ounce per plant my first run! Not bad I guess but my goal is 1oz per plant minimum so I have some work to do!

I think having double the light this time around should help considerably. I added my second light more than halfway thru flower so don't think I got the full potential out of it.

Here some pics of one of the lucky purple phenos I found in the ogre beans I popped.

If i remember right you were trying to do a SOG thing right? How many plants did you have? how long in veg?

I ended up with 15 or so, i killed a few along the way because some were just getting out of control (sativa's) for my small space. But about half of them were stringy sativa's that didnt produce much so i will probably grind them up and try to use them to make hash since the bud they did produce is nice and sparkly with THC :)

With everything i learned in my first grow and tweaking my setup this time around i think i should be able to get close to 1oz per plant. I am sticking to 20 plants in my "long term" 4x3x7 tent and going to really try and train/prune them well this time around so i don't get any scraggly shit just nice big buds.

Also then starting a perpetual grow with 4 plants getting added every 2 weeks in a 3x6x7 tent but i need to veg a little longer before i throw them in there.

I usually veg them until they are about a foot tall. I always start in beer cups and then once those are filled with roots i pot them up into 6" square pots where they will live the rest of their life. I usually like to give a week in veg when i pot up to give them a chance to stretch the roots out and fill the new pot some before throwing into flower.

I need to test out throwing some freshly potted ones into bloom and see if they get big enough for my needs.....

Word...I am doing 4 this round but will shoot for 5 maybe 6 next round but idk 6 might get too tight...I have had them vegging a total of a lil over a month but only just about 3 weeks has been in my tent under my 1000wMH, I had some ballast RF issues and in the begining had them under some weak cfls so they were slow starters..I think I will keep them in veg another 2 maybe 3 weeks then do the flip...I really want them to get nice and beefy...they are in 3gallon fabric pots now and I will be putting them into 7gallon fabs in about 2 weeks...I will be happy no matter what I get but my dream would be 3-4 ounces per plant! If it doesn't happen this round it will be something I strive for!!

Just remember they are gonna stretch like CRAZY during bloom!!!!!! You will be amazed how fast they grow in bloom!!!

When i started from seed i was vegging for at least a month i'd say, but now i just clone and grow from there so havent really been keeping track how long it takes although i probably should :)

So I know everybody is different and it really all depends on the plant/strain but is there a average amount of water/feed to give a plant in a 3gal pot in soil? I know that 15-25% runoff is the goal but I have been giving the girls about a gallon, gallon and a quarter each and I can tell some of them have more runoff then others. I know I read that when you flush you should flush with double the amount of water that your pot is...like 6gals of water for a 3gal pot..is this right too?

Why would you run water through your soil and drench all the goodies away if the plants are happy?

Anyways, there are too many factors involved to give an exact answer. Soil mix/medium beeing the most important there.

Way to much runoff bro. That's coco. U don't have to get much runoff at all.

no i didnt mean that...just meant how much nutrient solution to top feed..not water out the goodies..but i get it is not a question with a direct answer

well thats good bc i thought i read that was for soil but i was only getting maybe a 1/4 cup runoff at most from each plant and i thought i was doing something wrong

I never water/feed with run off. I wait until top two inches dry out go through it wit my fingers to check moisture below it, weigh the pots to get the idea how big the root ball is and water/feed to moisten the dried soil. Takes about a week with baby plants for the pots to dry and about two to three days with flowring plants. I feed the soil and the soil feeds the plant.

But like I said, too many factors, too many styles.

What is nyvia II again? Does she need more potency? Better structure? Shorter flowering time? Or do want tween the flavor? How does she hold up against mold and pest? All things i'd be asking myself if thinking of breeding. Personally find a Yeti OG to boost potency and cannabiniods and add alil something extra to flavor.
