It definitely matters but shouldnt be the cause of the stunted growth.....if the lil guys are getting enough light they will grow out of this funk..... I would be more concerned with the placement of the lights when you start seeing some real foliagee and growth. Maybe try misting those guys and avoid actually watering for a few days..

Do they look severely stunted? That might be due to my pH and using water straight from the tap vs letting it sit out over night...

I am no PRO by any measure.....I just know what works for me.....so take my observations with a grain of salt

Good stuff, i think im gona try they "finger" method and water when the top inch or two of soil is dry. Any risks in letting them get TOO dry before i water again? What signs should i look for that they are too dry?

If your using tap water treated with chlorine, then yes gas it out for 24 hours. I would try a little extra perlite in your soil. You need them roots to get some air. They'll bounce back bro. Best DP

I tested my water for chlorine and it came back negative which is why i didnt let it sit out, going to let it air out for 24hours from now on. Whats the best way to get perlite in the soil since they are already planted, i dont want to fuck the roots up when i try to take the soil out and add more perlite. The cups i emptied seemed to be really moist still so the soil holds water very well which i think is bad.

That soil looks really saturated from the pics I am seeing although looks can be deceiving.....I don't believe you have enough roots to be transplanting yet.....as soon as you see the soil pulling away from the cup's sides you may be able to repot them lil sweeties.... definitely use a lot of perlite..... maybe half and half.......I think some if these coco guys use more perlite than that..... @Tnelz and @flyingJstable and alot of other guys on this thread have much more experience than I when it comes to that technuque......i just kinda get by with dirt and water...lol

Appreciate the advice, the soil is definitely very damp. I guess i will have to keep an eye when i water them until i can get them into bigger pots with some perlite added. I don't want to risk killing all these by pulling them out and trying to add in some perlite.

So i think i am due for another watering, most of the cups are much lighter than they were before. Going to take my time and just add a little to each cup, can always add more if needed.

Where do you guys think my pH needs to be at? Pics attached for various levels i was able to achieve with the pH down drops, from 1 to 4 drops per liter of water.

Feel free to start your own thread in the "basic growing" forum.

Will do, didnt mean to hijack, you guys have just been very helpful is all :)

Hey jinx. I didn't mean it like that. I just meant you'd probably be better served to get fast answers in the basic growing section. You're welcome here. This is @Tnelz thread about anything, after all. Hope you get your issues nailed down.
