Everything is in the 3 Liter Air pots (coir,peat,bark,perlite,humus). Wks 1-6 under Gavita DE@600. Wks 6-9 under 600w hortilux.

First is 1 of 2 pheno for Headband. I showed the left pic somewhere earlier in the thread (appx 6.5wks I believe). Pic on right is at pull (11.5wks) and I didn't take stuff off to make it look better, lol. This is the strain / pheno that I cannot say for sure if it gained much benefit from Urea Vs Nitrate. I'll have to compare dry weight from notes to say for sure.

Next is Pheno 2 of 2 for Headband. This one showed "moderate" (say 2.5 of 5) benefit from Urea vs Nitrate. Here again pic on left I showed somewhere earlier in this thread. However both pics are taken at similar times (appx 9wks of 11). I tried to get a similar pic for comparison, left is closer a bit. LEFT pic Is with Nitrate based Nutes (Jacks, Maxibloom, potash, epsom etc). RIGHT pic is with Urea based Nutes (MG given earlier in thread). SAME NPK ppms. (It is hard to tell size difference, but good for structure / form. I have previous harvest with nitrate and will compare weights and have pics dry).

Next is Pheno 1 of 2 Fuel. This one responded "decently" (say 3.5 of 5) to Urea vs Nitrate. Same plant in both pics Rightmost cola is the same (other cola not visible in pic with can). The pic on left was again shown earlier in the thread and is @ appx 6.5wks. The pic on the right has been in flush for just over a week and is at appx 10wks (5 days or so left). Since energy is spent growing calyx in week 3-6; you get nice rewards during fill-out in wk 6-9. (have dry tops from previous to compare and weight notes. will have those when this is pulled / dry).

Next is Bullrider. I believe I posted the pic on the left earlier and is @4wks. Pic on the right is the same plant, 1 day off from 6 wks (so end of Urea phase). Nothing particular, just figured I'd update the pic.

I guess to give a pic comparison of bull @ pull 11.5wks. These were more main stem dominate (whereas I usually do 2 tops). Again I didn't pretty them up. Also, I suppose does show some that I don't tend to trim off lower stuff. One of the few places I prefer natural I guess, lol. However, you can kinda see how the main growth is more up top regardless (seen with urea not nitrate).

Dude im gunna have fun with this lol. if someone took your nuts off would you still be a male ? if u have a hermie u can pull the dicks off , and they may be alright . but you can dress a bloke in a dress and he is still a bloke , just a bit suss . so no male is male . i think there is some magic potion that can reverse males but im not familar with it . sorry if u think i was having a laugh at your expense im not . just taking the op to get a giggle lol. peace

To make good to my brother spit .lol @Stumpy420 Fertile female flowers can be induced in male plants by ethephon (2-chloroethanephosphonic acid) and NIA 10637 (ethylhydrogen-l-propylphosphonate). Interestingly, stamens could be seen arising even from fruits. Stopping the application of growth regulators caused the plants to revert to their original sex. We hypothesized that in Cannabis, GA and ethylene act as male and female hormones respectively, and that the expression of sex is controlled by a balance between their endogenous levels. Abscisic acid (ABA) is able to overcome the GA induced male flower formation (Mohan Ram and Jaiswal 1973; Mohan Ram and Sett 1985).

These are not my notes... just ones I saved.......

Ethephon @ 750 ppm sprayed once/week for three weeks. The effect was such as to produce pistills enough for making seeds, which was my only goal- to create male selfs and male:male seeds for use in breeding/research- ie towards the development of pure XY lines. The above mentionned regimen is sufficient to that end.

I have not used the technique for testing males via their 'pistillate characteristics' in the purest sense, although the plants clearly showed 'pistillate characterists' in the appearance of their resin profiles/smell etc.

I imagine continual application up to 6 weeks for most WLD indica individuals would be sufficient to produce femlae 'buds' on the male plant but further research is clearly in order. The plants I was working with never recieved enough light/space/energy to produce buds and thus truly evaluate the females by smoking.

Once the plants were were fertilized I stopped the applications of ethephon (ethylene as a primary of the 7 plant hormones has many many functions in the plant and I didn't want to interfere with seed development). Of course the fertilization dramatically slowed further floral development as the plants directed their energy into the devellopment of seed. I suspect continued applications combined with more light and space would produce larger floral clusters than shown in the included pic (below).

The 'booseted' regimen would surely produce enough floral mass for use in GC/MS applications for Cannabinoid and Terpinoid analysis quantification/analysis, as you can see even the seeded pistillate clusters produced enough mass for GC testing.

Well lets make this really interesting, not that it wasn't already .:D I will also add to the kitty and throw some genetics in with @Tnelz. Anyone else?........ Sort of a cannabis poker game. Get a dozen peeps throwin in and this could be epic for the winner.... Of course this would be if we can do this within site protocol and the OP @Tnelz says its kool......... We could call it Tnelz's Boston baked bean prize. o_O........ Go Beantown!!!

Sea does that mean u made male seeds as in they throw male or reg seeds from a male . cheers bloke
