So i came into a cpl of free bottles of ez-wet soil penetrant....im familiar with NFTGs Hygeia's Hydration. Is this pretty much the same thing? Is it okay to use with an organic regiment?

There is no best way bro. And don't bend in flower unless u have to. Do what works. Untill u know what will happen experiment every dam run untill u got that particular plant down. Remember take notes cuz trust me u will forget. I also suggest running the same strain over a few times untill u see through practice what is best for said strain.

I guess I will clip n clone right before I flower, then I don't want to lose any cu ts, it's too important at this point. I don't have 50 to 100 bucks for seeds lol everything I've done so far besides my light has still cost me under $100.

I love plants. They are so gangster. They always "turn up" like they are scram in "turn down for what??"

No it isn't the same thing but same concept. Ezwet is good for foliar wetting agent I wouldn't use it in my soil. But I need to see the bottle to make sure we r talking about the same product.

Nice pics been showing up guys!! Always nice to see / hear about branches breaking or too heavy for standing up.
As well,
@FlyinJStable Glad to see the stable is back in full effect.
@Tnelz , nice to see the progress!
@Stumpy420 good luck with your run!
@CBDEMON ge yo foo o' ma foo! Yeaaahhh!!
@Toaster79 not kept up with new models of the LEDS (if new stuff is out); but isn't a 600w hps still more efficient / less heat than LED's? Hps is hitting 150 Lu/w; are you able to practicably build an LED hood at or in excess of 150 Lu/W? I know they are getting close and you keep up with that stuff.

It's this bottle just to see if were talkin bout the same thing...Im glad i asked bc I would have totally started using it on my soil but they were free so im okay just using it for foliar
Ez wet

@MGRox

Yes, 600W HPS puts out initially 150lm/W and starts degrading rapidly the moment it's first turned on.

XM-L (first generation) however puts out 160 lm/W where second generation XM-L2 puts out even more since Cree started using SiC technology (currently gen. 5) Those are small 10W emitters. Same goes for XP-G2 and XP-E2 and further on with new models like XP-L and so on and so on. They are same dies in different packages where XP stands for 3.5x3.5mm base, G stands for 1.5x1.5mm die, E stands for 0.9x0.9mm or 1.0x1.0mm die (EZ900 and EZ1000), XM stand for 5x5mm base and L stands for 3.5x3.5mm die. I might have ssome of those number wrong from the top of my head but yuo get the idea how theyre marking their models.

However their SiC3 technology puts out just under 200lm/w in lab testing where SiC5 puts out that number in real life. It's where low currents and good thermal management comes in play. Achieving such efficacy and high power with those small emiter would go through the roof price vise. Bit we do have VOBs with same technology. CXB series. Driven at around 300mA they'll put out 200lm/W IF the thermal efficiency doesn't represent the bottle neck. The problem is those COBs are built on veramic base. So soldering directly to the copper core heatsink might get tricky. Now you have to google S-Bond and you'll see where I'm going with this ;)

Actually building a 1K LED unit is totaly feasible but the initial costs are gonna be painful. On the other hand a unit built this way is gonna last you 100K hours and loose 25% max of its initial luminous flux. Now take in account how jany HPS bulbs you need to buy to get 100K hours runtime and you'll see that hose LEDs are gonna outperform HPS in every point of view. For 1000W you'll need 40 CXB3590 which is gonna be steep but you can mix youself a perfect colour spectrum.

@MGRox

When we talk about a 400/600/1000W HPS is that the power on the bulb or is that what the unit pulls out the wall?

How efficient are those ballasts?

Thanks for the info Toaster!.
Most of the ballast I guess are around 98% efficient; so wall power would be in the order of 660w. or 136 Lu/W. Hortilux doesn't give lumen maintenance; but from phillips they rate 90% lumen output @ 5,000hrs. So, 416 days of 12/12 would be 122 Lu/W; including ballast power. (be much faster for MH)
I suppose the loss per watt of ballast power is going to be similar whether driving LED or HPS; excluding under-driving an LED ballast would be less than 98%.

Which model CXB @ 300ma is 200Lu/W? I know they've had some higher numbers like that in the lab; just hadn't seen in application yet. I know you keep up on it xD.
Think I used the CXA's when I did that small 2x2 space using LED supplement. That ended up being right at 100Lu/W including ballast I suppose.

It says it's ok so give it a shot if u want. Their actual foliar wetting agent is awesome but more akin to sm90. However this isn't that it's def for ur medium. In saying that I trust the company so if u really want to use it yes it will do the same thing as the hh from nectar. But I do not believe u will get any real benefit. Considering it was free go for it man.

It's hard to take all that light info in and really know what you are talking about, I know the basics and maybe slightly more depending on who you ask what the basics are. I think I need to read more into the leds. I got a pamphlet from Nextlight. Anyone heard of those? They are expensive like 1200 bucks for a 500w led.

What is the purpose?

EZ wet SE is 80 some odd percent yucca...
EZ wet 26 is different and for lawns... I cannot seem to readily find its ingredients however...

Grow More 80 E - Z Wet Soil Penetrant
Active Ingredient: Iron - 0.10%
Non-plant food products:
Active Ingredients - 26.00% (Mixed Isoalkyl, Alkyl Polyoxyethylene and Alkylaryl Polyethylene Ethanols)
Inert Ingredients - 74.00%
For use in: Any type of outdoor setting soil.

If you're fighting hydrophobic soils, yucca or aloe watered in will be your friends....

I'll catch up with you guys later. Mrs is in hospital having labor. Hopefully it won't take too long
Gratz toaster!!!! I had no idea!! Lol at hoping it won't take long.

Edit: anyone notice the brain fart with efficiency and power I had there. xD. Should be 612w and 147lu/w. Though with PF would be little higher. Anyone have a watt meter to test theirs? Mine are hardwired; have to see if I could rig something up to test.
