@MGRox I just don't know how to wire to ballast and can I use threw plants whole life cycle? And would it get to hot in a closet. I don't have ventilation just small fan

If you go buy a security light or even the sun system and want to "remote" the ballast; just make sure to keep the wires the same as they come. You can keep the plant the whole life under the hps, but "may" have more node space. If you get an electronic ballast for 150 EU (100v) HPS; then it will also run a 150w MH or CMH. (more cost though).
For cooling, I recently ran a 2x2 space with a 150w HPS. The room air that was drawn in, was around 75f. I had a 100cfm computer fan that exhausted out of the space and it stayed 78-80. It does produce heat but not a huge amount I suppose. If heat does prove an issue, then you may choose to head to LED's (in the longer term).

Water molecules are water molecules. You can treat the water with ozone or bubble pure oxygen through it to increase the dissolved oxygen, but you wont get "activated water" whatever that is...

True... I did notice that, usually after adjusting three days in a row after I change all the waterms and freshen it all up it will stabilize for the rest of the week. It usually rises the first few days. @SpitXFire

The ph should always be going up in hydro. If after a water/nute change out, your ph starts going down from where you set it....something is wrong/off.

NO PPM OR EC METER. remix to half the strength? Not root rot, it wipes off but I have to do something fast.@Tnelz @gardnguyahoy @Seamaiden @MGRox anyone fast please. That dark on the roots is like sediment or dirt or something it's on my air tube too.

you absolutely need a good ph pen and ec pen....using those strips is such a drag...esp since ur doing hydro and not soil...i haven't used my ph pen this entire outdoor cycle and everything is gravy bc mother nature is taking care of me..;):D

You will, what is happening is not that bad. I would just get it out of that solution & into straight PH'd water for a couple days while the plant sorts itself, then start with the recipe I gave you. We were talking about this a few days ago & I said I could give out a DWC recipe that kills it, & it's so simple.

I couldn't think of a better place to put it into practice.

I got some of those beans to test out and i was supposed to run them last cycle but they got lost along with all my other beans for a min bc i was moving everything around in my ouse...Now i found everything and they are on the grow docket for the cycle after next.....just curious to know how theyre growing for you

Right now, here is where I am at

It's embarrassing to say, but stuff happens. I had 13 seeds I believe. All in the root riot cubes like normal.

However, I need to make about 25 clones for someone so I employed the help of my wife.

She didn't realize (probably because I didn't tell her, I thought she knew) that there were seeds in there already. So she took the clones, gel & all & stuffed them in the cubes that already had seeds in them. Unfortunately, I didn't notice for a few days.

I looked at the cloner & said, "Hey, what happened to all the...Oh no..."

I have good success with those peet plugs, however, you have to put the seed in just below the top. So that the seed isn't seeing much light, but it's easy for the tap root to do it's thing. When the clones were put in, the seeds were jammed down (hard) into the bottom of the cube.

I pulled all the clones & trashed them. Pulled every peet plug apart to find the seeds. I don't know if I damaged them or not, I guess we'll see. These seeds could use a good 24 hour soak before you tuck em in.

But I have 5 (that pic is a few days old) so far, hopefully more coming. If not though, it's certainly not Soser's fault. They are not under much light right now. But out of 5, I'm sure I'll get at least one girl.

One of them actually already smells. He warned me they would smell, but I think these are gonna be epic stink bombs.

That may be true, but for now it's actually for my own health and experiment purpose,... I've seen that site before, they seem to debunk everybody like Patrick Flanagan crystal energy, Johann Grannder s energy rod...David Wheeler did similar in some of his writings debunking, but his own company folded...but these I have used and to great success, I won't know until I try...like the penergizer from Grannder, I bought in 97, there were claims that it oxygenated water and improved plant growth, I got one and lo and behold it did, u stir with the rod and growth was noticeable from treated and non treated Plants...I get calls time to time for health related matters from friends, we share info and such...an alopath physician will almost never agree with good naturopathic doctor, they in turn like to ' debunk' saying vitamins, minerals and herbs don't work an its a waste of time...I've heard alopath say sea weed, spirulina is no good, but they tell me that xyz drug is good for what ails ya...

Hahahahahaha...thats sounds like some shit i would totally do!! Hey, it happens to the best of us, i hope you get at least 1 if not more fems that way we can compare....and actually if they really are that stinky it works out even better bc after this cycle im changing out my phresh filter for a new one!! So seems like it will all work out...Best of luck on the rest of the grow buddy!!

You should check out something call Jungle Secret Water...its a filter that can attach to a hose or to a sink i think and it puts out some kinda "special" water...and the guy just emailed me recently that he is now gearing the company toward cannabis completly!! I've been wanting to try it but haven had the xtra dollars! I actually talke with tthe owner about getting one for a contest i was thinking about being a part of back in march, but it eneded up never happening

I learned a lesson everybody! Don't change dwc nutes in middle of a grow. Probably would have lost it if I didn't watch it and keep an eye on it. Thank you @Junk for your quick response. I think I'm gonna finish out this grow with what I got, then add the other stuff you told me to get on the next run.
