You guys have tips for selecting traits before flowering? I don't really have room to take a cut from every plant and would like to be able to narrow it down a bit before clones are taken.

Good I'm glad he's been happy with it. I thoroughly enjoy nourishing myself on the food he raises, I'd be bummed if he were not happy with the genetics I gave himWhat ever it is it was a beast huge rock solid chunks of beef as cm was calling it.
Do you have grower friends to hold the extra phenos? Really the only way is to flower them out. Sometimes a vegging plant will smell particularly strong, which could be an indicator, and half way through flower you should see which plants have the most desirous traits. But sometimes the real nuances of the aroma will only develop in the last three weeks. IMO only the smoke test in the end will tell you which is the winnerYou guys have tips for selecting traits before flowering? Who did the destroyer, any specific breeder? I need to track this shit down. I also heard c99 was a good sativa and a fast finish...but i dont know for sure. Ive never had any lol...That's why I dig the destroyer. Soaring psychedelic shit in 80 days
Just do test clones. If you can clone? Root em, then flower them. The results will be for the garbage can, but if you can mark which plant each clone came from, in a couple weeks they should show sex and youll know what each plant is hidin under the skirt. Just a theory ime. Never tried it. Read it somewhere. But its how i intend to sex my seedlingsNot much way around the flower if you wanna do it proper, eh. Does anyone here 12/12 to sex then go back to veg? How long does that process take?
Hey could someone explain f1 f2 f3 and the other one, what is it s1 s2? Is it generations?
Really well said. Wish you posted more man. Seriously could learn a lot from you. I personally enjoy strong indica high although a solid sativa is awesome too. Wanna be clear that yeild is def second to quality but I'd rather something that's fire that yeild vs something that dosent. But not necessarily what one would think. It's not a money thing although it is more so at this time. It's that until now I've been growing out of a single 4*4. I really need to get the most fire I can out of the space. But now with the extra space I have I really want to grow some cookies or whatever that's just an example that isn't the greatest yeilder. Anyway I almost popped some of your tangerine haze tonight @NaturalTherapy . I just can't pop another seed right now. As I was going through my beans I found some g13*hasplant x ghost train haze #1 . That could be interesting and was the cross I was speaking of earlier . Can't stop won't stop. Lol. Respect and good vibes y'all. For me it's simply too hard to pick just one. I'm a sativa lover but I'm also suffering from chronic pain á la neuropathy and need strong indica. I have a destroyer that knocks people's socks off but it is not medically active at all! I have a White X G13/Hashplant cut that is primo medical cannabis, but I can't smoke that shit during the day and still accomplish anything.
Hybrids are fun to smoke but IMO sativa hybrids do not come close to the same headspace that pure sativa can elevate one to.
Then you have OG kush. Legend and Ghost are both awesome, and different enough that it's worth trying them both at least once or twice. IMO some producers are offering seed varieties pumping out stellar OG pheno as good as any cut- perhaps better since they are vigorous and pathogen free.
I love the extra money from heavy yields, of course, but that is secondary to me. Quality of high is paramount, followed by aromatics and flavor. If it yields too, fucking awesome!
GG4 is definitely top notch when done right. It didn't really do it for me though, wasn't medically effective and the headspace was a little muddy, basically no different than any other potent polyhybrid in terms of effect. The flavor/aroma is something else though, and as a Hashplant it is nearly everything you can ask for.
Things like that right there really bring this place to another level. That post should be a sticky someplace. @ShroomKing just a suggestion. Thank you @SeaF0ur ur a true G bro.S1: The first selfed generation, selfing of a plant with CS STS or Ga3
F1: the first cross between two unrelated parents. The F stands for filial, and refers to the fact that all F1 progeny of the same cross are full brothers and sisters to one another.
F2: the second cross between two of those F1 plants.

If you took something to F6, and decided it was finished it would become P1 then using it in a new cross you'd go back to the top of the chart again...
say you took it to F4 then hit one it with one of the original parent plants... F4Bx1 hit that with its parent again... F4Bx2
S1 hit with pollen from its parent = S2 Parent hit with S1 pollen = S1BC1 or S1Bx1... I have also seen it written as SB1
even more....
A "single cross" is another name for an F1 hybrid. When two IBLs are crossed the F1 hybrid, or single cross, is the result. This type of cross has the most uniformity and hybrid vigor. A "double cross" is made by crossing two single crosses which come from four separate IBLs. A double cross will be somewhat more variable than a single cross, but will have a wider range of adaptability. This adaptability makes the double cross good for diverse environments. The "top cross" and the "three way cross" are used as testers. A top cross is an IBL crossed with a variety, and it is used to test for general combining ability. A three way cross is an IBL crossed with an F1. The result of this cross will be one of the parents of the double-cross, and it is used to test for specific combining ability. A "backcross" is crossing the progeny back to one of its parents, and on another level, to any plant with the same genotype as a Parent. It is designed to improve the parent by retaining most of its qualities and adding a new one. After a series of backcrosses, some degree of uniformity is realized as a result of increased gene frequencies, fixing of some loci through selection and some incidental homozygosity. However, the offspring can only become completely homozygous if the recurrent parent was completely homozygous, and will remain heterozygous for the loci that were heterozygous in the recurrent parent. A "self cross" is the result of a female Cannabis plant pollinating herself, whether by artificial induction or natural hermaphrodite tendencies. A female that has produced seed from its own pollen is said to be the S0 generation and the resulting seeds are the S1 progeny. A "full sib" cross is a straight male-female cross between brothers and sisters. A "half sib" cross uses sister females and unrelated males.
