@shemshemet i just feel like breeding should be a process of pheno hunting and stabilizing. Not gg4xeverythingunderthesun package it up and tell someone to go huntin.

You're looking for F1 hybrids. Stable seed plants with huge vigor. It takes at least 6 generations (some say more some say less) to get a plant to the point it can create a true F1 hybrid. Not only does it take 6 generations, but plants do not automatically breed true after in-crossing 6 generations. You need a very large gene pool to start from. You need to make sure you do not get any inbreeding depression. Then you need to find, not only the best plant of the bunch, but the best plant of the bunch that breed true.

And you need to do this for at least 2 lines to create just 1 new F1 hybrid.

It is not an easy process.

I've just popped a bean from a similar accident the tangie hermie and I ended up with seed in my stardawg so far it's looking good I'm guna take the top off it in the next couple of days to sex it if it's a success guna run it :) any thoughts on it in terms of hermie traits ?

If the price is right, I think idea of pollen chucking is cool. People like myself don't have access to the cool elite cuts yet and the idea of grabbing 50 seeds of A golden goat x og then finding a cut that will be Unique to my stable is very appealing.

But I'm also pretty good at finding the positive in a situation. I'd totally rather have the real goat, and a nice male to make my own cross. That takes a network and skill level that can only come with patience though.

Well neither is welding, or playing guitar or working on cars. Thats why if you cant do it right you pay for professional work thats done right. You dont pay the half assed welder that just bought a welding kit and has no idea what hes doing. You pay the guy whos been doing it for years, and knows what the fuck is up. You dont pay to watch the shit musician. You pay to see the ones who know how to do the damn thing!

Im just saying. Half assed lines that arent even tested by the breeder bum me out. And its pretty damn common im noticing. I think we all notice the breeders that stand out. Its just a bummer that you gotta PAY to find out if someones worth their medal. I call shenanigans. Full-tilt shenanigans. :cool:Lol

breeding for effects is what I would want to do, like breed a munchies weed, sleep weed, creative weed. I'm not worried about taste being bred because so long as it's not sprayed with nasty chemicals, all weed tastes good lol. I have a long long time before I have the set up for breeding though.

here is a good question.. does anyone know of any amazing creeper weeds? ya know, smoke and it hits you a half hour later type shit? I would love to grow a creeper or learn how to manipulate a plant to have a delayed stone or high when you smoke it.

Mss always creeps up on me like 25min later I'm.way to baked to.be walking gg4 also creeps on me not as hard maybe it's just a long stone for me

I've recently aquire some locamotion #3 × monstercookies × gg #4 & glueberry × monster cookies × gorilla glue #4. I'll be popping them in a couple months , will have to keep a watch out for intersex traits .

Some guys were talking about the monster cookies for that reason and if the gg4 has it in there too depending where u got them beans the chances are high but it's like running the lottery sometimes and the proof is the existence of gg4 :)
