To dry or not to dry? That is my question.

Sup doods-

So I'm nearing harvest on my first successful grow (I hope) and I gots a question. Sorry for no pics or grow journal, I got no camera or compruter.

Anyways, I'd like to make some oil or butter to keep around the crib for the long-term and I was wondering if anybody has make oil using fresh buds? Should I wait til it's dry or is it better to do it fresh? I'm open to any input and thanks for the help.

While you have access to a computer search for "making pot or hash oil". Detailed instructions are available. I never use buds of any kind for oil, however. I smoke buds. I use the trimmings, especially the manicured bud leaves, which are partially dried, by the way..

Thanks dudes. My thoughts were that if I'm just trying to extract the thc and what-not into the oil, it would probably be easier with fresh buds cause they're still moist. We'll see.
