That's why I kept the water acid, it balanced out mostly.cheers A man I would remove the DE there’s way to much on top . The ph will go a bit squewif with all that on there . Do you know where DE comes from ?
No it didn't. That water is almost the same as RO or distilled. You cannot very accurately measure the ph of either with our ph meters. The water is extremely unstable and will extremely easily and quickly change to the ph of whatever it's added to. It has no ability to change the phThat's why I kept the water acid, it balanced out mostly.
Yes I understand mate .That's why I kept the water acid, it balanced out mostly.
I did do a run off test on each to give an idea.No it didn't. That water is almost the same as RO or distilled. You cannot very accurately measure the ph of either with our ph meters. You can also use iron to lower ph in soil .To boot acids in soil break down very quickly and are not a good way to control the ph of soil. If you want to lower the ph something like peat moss should be used. To raise DE or any Carbonate, bicarbonate source like calcium carbonate.
Not a good idea considering it's only need in trace amounts but yesYou can also use iron to lower ph in soil .
Why would you want to raise DE? Its alkaline as is.To boot acids in soil break down very quickly and are not a good way to control the ph of soil. If you want to lower the ph something like peat moss should be used. To raise DE or any Carbonate, bicarbonate source like calcium carbonate.

Does it? not even sure of that, thought I remember reading of people adding dolomite to Promix, but it wasn't my intent.I can't see any reason to amend a soil that is already buffered. Unless you are trying to correct something but that's a different story
That's what I'm saying your promix has I believe dolomite lime already in it. Why would you want to raise it with DE
Promix is a pre buffered soil.Does it? not even sure of that, thought I remember reading of people adding dolomite to Promix, but it it wasn't my intent.
Yeah, limestone.Promix is a pre buffered soil.
Yeah. I would pull what you can of the DE out and give em a feed. Make sure they get a good wet dry cycle and they should start to pick up in a few daysYeah, limestone.
INGREDIENTS:
- Sphagnum peat moss (75-85%)
- Perlite.
- Vermiculite.
- Limestone.
- Wetting agent.
One thing I haven't fucked up is letting them dry out good b/f watering.Yeah. I would pull what you can of the DE out and give em a feed. Make sure they get a good wet dry cycle and they should start to pick up in a few days
